"In the week leading up to July 6th, Ofcom received precisely 290 complaints about various matters related to the show.

The majority of complaints were about an argument that housemates Marcus and Sree had, which happened on Thursday.

About 200 people complained about Marcus’ apparent verbal threat against Sree, which he was he was later formally warned about by Big Brother. Prior to the argument, Marcus had also mimicked Sree’s accent, however Big Brother’s warning was not regarding this incident.

Ofcom is currently reviewing whether it will investigate the complaints or not."

I wrote and asked why there wasnt more racism, sexism and violence in BB, also would it be possible to put either a serial killer or an axe murdering psychotic into the house this year.

This was due to me being offended by the banalities and blandness of this series' current crop of looney tunes currently occupying the big brother house.

Unfortunately no psychotics made it through the auditions, though BB has reluctently agreed to lower the standards for any new housemates introduced this series.

Don't forget that this is just 1 week. Over 3 or so weeks, it could get more than 1000 complaints.

Ive never been to England so I dont know the current social state of the country. I dont understand the "racism" accusations that are being talked about. If what Marcus did was considered racist then England is quite lucky that it does not have to deal with the racial problems every other country in the world has to deal with. I could understand if he called him some slurs or came out and said Sree is no good because hes from India but he didnt. He mimicked 13 x13 which was a jab at Sree and not really a jab at India. By the way has everyone forgot Sree calling Markus "Bob the builder" and telling all the other HM's that Markus would not even be worthy to clean his parent's house? Where Im from that would catch you a serious beat down. Mimicking speech patterns is really no reason to get a guy pulled of a show and ruin him in the public's eyes forever IMO and Gavin go find a hobby or something you seem to have too much time on your hands if your worried this much about a non-issue such as this.
