I loved it. I love reading and writing, especially writing my own stuff as I specialise in Poetry and Novel writing.
And I got to do an exchange to Portugal to study and live over in Porto for 5 months.

I really don't think I can be arsed with Uni, which is kind of pointless me being in college :joker: but I really don't want to pay for everything in life.

LOL sure arista, I mean there's so many people out there with PhD just finding it hard to get a job... oh wait, no there isn't. Especially not from a top Uni. Thanks for the vote of confidence, though.

Maybe so, but I'm glad I went.
I achieved a lot by doing it, and I got myself there with no help from everyone.
I had 3 jobs while at College to afford to do my A-levels, and I had 2 jobs while I was at uni.
I'm damn impressed with myself, and nobody can take that away from me. And besides I'm confident I'll be successful with my writing. Determination is one thing I'm not short of.

Do you have to specialise in writing you own stuff to take on English Lit? That sounds really fun, btw!

Nope. You don't have to specialise in any form of writing. You could take the degree from a research point of view. Studying literature, breaking it down, understanding why and how this form of Art works and has progressed through history etc.
It is fun, but also very hard work. But if you enjoy it, then you'll put in the effort.
