He should have spun it and said that he was only pointing out what the public might think and that he personally did not think like that but hey that would have taken some kind of thought by him.

The sad thing is that Kris was not going to confront Marcus instead Sophie confronted Marcus and Kris joined in. He's a coward as well as a liar.
