We can now confirm the rumours, that a bunch of fresh housemates will arrive in time for next weekend. Yay!
Tonight, the 5th person will be evicted from the Big Brother House, not the 6th person as Channel 4 seem to think, because Beinazir was technically 'rejected' having never made it to full housemate status. And next Friday (17th June 2009), the 6th person will go, leaving just eight contestants in the game.
However, those eight will be joined by another four just as soon as the 6th Evictee has gone, which should pep things up and cause a huge amount of excitement within the House.
Our source actually told us that 'more than three' people were set to arrive, so we deduced that it would be four, although it could well be more. That's fairly unlikely though, seeing as there'll only be 7 weeks left at that stage; in other words, if BB brings them in, it has to get rid of them at some point!
Anyway, we're really looking forward to seeing who turns-up and how well they integrate with the group. You never know, our Winner could be amongst the latecomers?
Firstly, the nominations process will take place on Sunday 12th July in order to not interfere with Big Brother’s tenth anniversary celebrations. Usually nominations take place on Mondays, so it’s going to happen a day earlier this week.
Then, the plan from Monday to Thursday will be to bring back ex housemates to take part in “iconic” tasks from the previous nine series.
Monday 13th July:
“Nasty” Nick Bateman will return to compete in an assault course. The ‘cheat’ had lied during BB1 about being in the Territorial Army, so it will be intriguing to see how he gets along!
Meanwhile, BB2’s Bubble will be back to take part in a sweet-corn eating contest.
Tuesday 14th July:
A housemate from BB3 (maybe Spencer or Jonny) will take part in a memorable task, while BB4’s Lisa will participate in a gymkhana task.
The highlight of the day will be a BB6 housemate returning and partipating in the famous “Living in a box” task. Could the housemate returning be Makosi? You’ll have to wait and see!
Wednesday 15th July:
BB7’s Nikki will be back to take part in a “silent disco” task. Not only that, but BB8 winner Brian Belo will return and participate in a “word association” task. When he did the task back in 2007, he was absolutely awful!
Thursday 16th July:
Flamboyant BB9 chef Rex will return to take part in the “electric shock” task from last year, which got viewers in histerics.
And that’s probably not all, as Channel 4 guarantee that there will be “surprises aplenty” during the week.
Friday 17th July:
To cap off the anniversary week, “more than three” new housemates will be introduced in the 10:35pm show, after another current housemate is evicted. Channel 4 promise that the show will have some “shocking turns” and “unexpected excitement”.
What do you make of Big Brother’s tenth anniversary plans? Excited? We definitely are!

Tuesday 14th July looks the best day I think, loads of stuff going on. Looks very interesting.
