I've had a penpal for 7 years or so who lives in Switzerland. I talk to him generally 3 or 4 times a month minimum and we've been really close (though flitted from very close to like yeah)

Anyway, I went on his fbook last night and saw loads of messages saying "you're in our prayers" and I was really worried (hence the smoking) and I found out from one of his friends this morning that he fell into train tracks after leaning on the train, and the train went. he's had his left leg amputated and his right below his knee, and is in a coma.

I'm ridiculously worried and upset about the whole thing as I've constantly said he's my soul mate and my equal and like my brother and stuff and now because I'm so far away I don't know what to do or think and all day I've been really upset  (hence no posts)

That's terrible Sia, I think the best you can do is just keep thinking positive, maybe leave him a nice message on Facebook and let him know that you were thinking of him when he does wake up...

It's hard to know what to do. Especially as he isn't conscious. Maybe you could find out what hospital he is in and send something over so it is there when he recovers? A personal card or something significant. It doesn't matter what. Just a token to let him know you are thinking of him.

I hope that helps. Keep your chin up. x
