Now, let me get this out first I lOVE halfwit, and I think that himbecoming more involved in the group can only be a good thing, but does anyone think that he may lose fans if he is not getting picked on anymore?

No it just shows he's a nice person. He's only being like nice now because people dont like his views and opinions

I have always liked Freddie, it was sad that he was getting picked on for a while but that was not the reason i liked him in the first place.

I don't think he will.

I genuinely like him.

The bullying was just something that happened but it isn't the sole reason why I became a fan of his.

I say, old chap, just what are you implying?
He's a good egg, and as for that other lot, they are a shower, good manners forbids me from stating a shower of what, but you get the picture, what!

I think a lot of people started to like Freddie initially just out of sympathy.
But Freddie has gained a lot of support by the way he hasn't been unphased by the treatment he's received-especially from Kris, and also the way he has kept going despite being nominated every week!
Stiff upper lip and all that, hey Freddie!

Freddie makes me laugh almost every episode. I think he is a highly amusing and generally likeable fellow. He also has a shrewd understanding of the dynamics of the House.

At the moment I would say he is the most likely to win.

Us Brits love an underdog don't we and it is either this which gives Freddie his popularity or this combined with his personality.

I think Freddies personality is so, so refreshing and unique and never before seen in BB history and it will stand the new found attention that it is currently recieving in light of him not being bullied any more

He will lose fans, but because other housemates are starting to gain more focus and attention, not because he doesn't have sympathy.

My support for him has not wavered - yet. Maybe a new housemate might swing it, but never any of the ones left in the house at the moment.

makes a nice change to have a BB housemate who can string a sentence together.

I don't think so, not everyone who lieks him only started because he was getting picked on. I liked him from the second day in. While he may have gained a few sympathy fans too, I think for the most part people have realised he is a nice guy, and will stick with him because of that.

i have liked him since day 1!! he is an amazing and refreshing character! he has a lot about himself other than just being a responsive person to the one getting bullied

Yep, watch in the coming weeks as his popularity dwindles when the protest and sympathy voters switch to another housemate. Rex was popular last year when he was being mean to the spitgate crew, once they were gone and the public vendetta satisfied they quickly turned on him when he was mean to the tediously dull Rachel.

Me too! As soon as he stepped in the door I was laughing, I'm so happy that there is at least one Competent housemate in this series

Freddie is the BIGGEST sceamer, but he is only doing to save his skin as he had such a big battle against Lisa. however his gameplan is funny, eccentric and actually entertaining!

I think he's as manipulative and playing as much of a game as lisa. I think his behaviour is quite hypocritical....he talks constantly about lisa's gameplaying....how lisa was trying to pull sophie in to her little group when chris left....yet he was doing exactly the same, and watching him and noirin try and influence the likes of noirin..hardly the innocent characters ay

I was worried Freddie might have become too confident recently but still I like him. I do not know what magic formula he has.
