If he hadn't satrted lusting on Noirin (and hence attacking Marcus) do you think he would have lasted longer?

Personally I liked him, I found him to be funny and nice until the whole Noirin Thing Started.

He would have definately stayed if he hadn't got caught up in fancying Noirin

He would've stayed longer if he hadn't become obsessed with Noirin, but not much longer. His insistence of imparting his particular societal views on the rest of the house (how people should speak, how women should dress and act, etc..) would've gotten him the boot anyway.

I'm just glad he's gone. I still have nightmares of him asking Charlie if he likes Indian boys.
