housemate swap with bb11 usa?????

big brother suprise on friday is that they will do a houseswap with bb11usa to celebrate its 10th anniversary and that the housmates will nominate who to evict there and then. the nominated housemate will be then be in bb11usa for a short period.

they will be four new housemates entering on friday but will have no housemate status to earn housemate status they will have to take clothes food drinks to a number of ex housmates in a house next door without the original housemates knowing if done sucessfully they will earn big brother status whcih will include science, liam,imogen,glynn who will find out the rest on friday.

the hidden ex-housemate hidden in the birthday box is charley

i no theyre doing it as a memorable event of big brothers past 10 years.. the likely swap would be marcus swaps with braden a 25 year old eye candy for the girls claim to fame has been an extra in the hills

Give me a break. The logistics behind this would make it very difficult to pull off. Not to mention, what would it gain Channel 4 and CBS? We can't just watch BBUK here in the states, you have to go online to do it, and it's my understanding that it's the same in the UK.

It makes a great little story for those of us who are really into BB, but from a business standpoint, why would they do it? They'd spend at least $75,000 doing the swap (probably much more, when you consider all the travel and support for C4/CBS employees to document it, ensure visas/passports are in order, etc..) when they could achieve the same amount of interest in just putting in new (domestic) housemates.

Well none of that was a problem in BB4 UK when Cameron swapped with Gaetano from Big Brother Africa.

The problem lies with the extremely different formats of both shows - if anything would prevent it from happening it's that.

I wasn't aware of that, and I did look it up, so you're right, apparently what I put out there wasn't an issue and they did pull it off.

I would just like to add that BBUSA is on Season 11, so there's no "Anniversary" really here to observe, and the BBUSA house guests have only been in the house for a bit more than a week at this point, vs the 6 weeks for BBUK.

Not to mention the rules are completely different, I just can't see it working.

I'll make it clear I have no proof either way, it just doesn't make sense whatsoever to me.

Yep. I first said about it last year on here that they should do that this year for the birthday thing.


Then said it again last week.

Doubt they will though. Unless it Chima that gets evicted from BB US. Then that would be interesting to see her deal with our h/mates.

I reckon they're going to put 4 new housemates in the house but only 3 will be shown to the hm on Friday whilst one will be in a secret house and either one or all of the new housemates will have the task of getting food to new hm number 4.

They did say they were going to recreate classic twists from previous years
