So here is the thing, my friend has been stuck in for a week babysitting her brothers. She is about to turn 18 and she needs to get out. Thing is she has got a day off on Wednesday. So I have from Tuesday afternoon - Thursday morning to do something amazing.

I am taking her out but not gonna tell her where and just gonna shove her on a random train somewhere... anyone got a really cool place to go for the day, beaches, nice climbs/walks. Preferably not too far from Manchester... so not in London.

Any ideas? Since I have no idea where I want to go a google search is useless! I really want to go somewhere different... can't think though... hm.

Newquay. Oh wait. You said near manchester. Dunno. Not know many places around there. Best beaches are down here in Devon and Cornwall.

Well we can go far-ish. But if it takes hours to get too or costs a bomb its too far haha. I am up for an adventure, so I dont mind a journey. Its a toughie really.

I was maybe thinking 'Go Ape!' I have already been once but I dunno, is there anything better?

If it's adventure you want then go white water rafting!

That's so much fun.

Or do a sky dive or try Zorbing.

Always wanted to go Zorbing... but I am a student and it sounds expensive
