I can picture it as well, I think maybe just a combination of her ambiguous views of sex and relationships and the fact they're both a bit spaced out and peculiar draws them together in my mind; I don't know if she'd necessarily be faking a relationship, but she'd definitely bear it in mind when she's speaking to him I'd have thought; and Halfwit seems so keen to just be hugged, I'm sure he'd love the attention!
