The words "digging" "tart" "gold" come to mind but not necessarily in that order.

It's sure a step-up from being a WAG to a Scottish 3rd Division footballer who even got dropped by his 3rd Division Team

It's probably her legendary skill at chess that attracted him to her. That and the fact it appears she'll do anything for only 20 Regal Kingsize. - cheap date for someone who appears absorbed by money!!!! :colour:

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do...are you saying you wouldn't do whatever you could for a luxurious life if you were a woman?

Knowing where Karly hails from (the sink estate of Methilhill is about 2km from where I'm typing this) the girl done well in overcoming adversity and getting out. If she'd been male and become a professional boxer, society would have admired that.

I guess you make a valid point.

Exactly. Let's face it, without her looks, the most glamourous her life would get would be a week on Marlboro Lights instead of Sovereigns...I don't blame her at all for gold digging. Alas, if I were a personaltyless, unattractive, rich man, I wouldn't mind being gold-dug either. Karly is probably just as much of a possession to him as he is to her, having an attractive, model girlfriend, when you are an ugly chinese fellow is a symbol of his success...I bet he ****ing loves it.

are you two for real? firstly, i think your comments on women are sexist: a girl's got do what a girl's gotta do? i mean do you seriously think women are all searching for money at the expense of emotional happiness? that's what it sounds like from the way you two are talking. and comparing her to a boxer makes no sense at all- boxers dedicate their lives to their sport and deserve our admiration when they have success. what has she done that could possibly compare?

Suggesting that a woman with good looks has every right to use those looks to chase a life she desires is NOT sexist, it's a fact...most people would agree.

So just stop making yourself look like an idiot.

What she did was dedication - as I understand it from my hometown, instead of relying on jobseeker allowance/diamond white/heroin to get by in Methilhill, she obsessively send snaps off to everywhere possible until picked-up by Nuts Mag as a "Street Honey". In keeping with this lifestyle, she got a footballer boyfriend - nobody in Scottish 2nd Division East Fife in hometown wanted it, so got a 3rd Div one...........unfortunately he was not Pele so got dropped by the 3rd Div Team.

The girl progressed by taking more off then bagged the goofy Hong Kong millionaire in EDI. Simples - it is not sexist - she used what what talents she had to get out of a life of dole/alcohol/heroin.

you're commenting on my spelling? that's how low you'll go? silly really..... and anyway americans would say that's the right way to spell it. and by the way, you've had your fair share of spelling and grammatical errors that i haven't drawn your attention to because to do so would be just plain silly and infantile.

Sorry setanta - what Squire was saying is valid and my professional boxer analogy is not sexist/invalid. I dislike her strongly, but you've gotta admire the bit of shenanigins that has got her from sink estate to millionaire geek. AND done for all the reasons people are alluding to I'm telling you.

You spelt nearly every word incorrectly :laugh2:

What I said was absolutely right...if women have good looks and no intelligence or breeding, they have every right to use those looks to find a better life...

Insult. and also that analogy is awful - you're turning it into a slippery slope argument (yes i do critical thinking ****)

I also tend to talk quite forthrightly about Karly's bad points as our town is about 40,000 people and folk have views we express on the street but possibly not wise to do so on a forum (80,000 evict votes came from Methil alone as many were on redial since lines opened!)

I'm all for a bit of arguing as long as it doesn't get personal.... this other chap is a bit of a joke, commenting on my spelling and stuff like that. Has a chip on his shoulders and sure his spelling was all over the shop and I didn't say a word.
He can't understand that I was saying that his first comment could be perceived as being a little sexist, that's all. I don't think he likes anyone calling him up on anything.

clear as day isn't it?
She's with him because he is absolutely LOADED!!
He's not an ugly guy (im a staight male) but he seems kinds boring to me from what i saw of the live feed late last night.

He's with her because she has got an arse to die for, and he must love tapping it until the cows come home.
Carly came across as quite a nice girl in her interview tho, but all that money (even tho she'll be making her own now but still not in the same leage) is too tempting....

Yep. In fact, on last night's show, Kenneth said he knew that Karly was with him for his money, but that he made him happy (or entertained him or something like that I forget the exact words). He is 100% about money. He even admitted it. So, to him, I am sure it is just like paying more for a good steak or wine or whatever.
