The House was in for two surprises last night, when not one but five new housemates entered through the door. And Karly was evicted.

While the new residents settled in, Big Brother treated them to some champers. Bea and David talked about their secret mission and developed their plot to get Halfwit and Noirin nominated. David said that he will distance himself from Noirin and Halfwit, and complain about them. Bea doesn't seem too keen on the idea, but David adds "We're saving our own skin."

Noirin told Dogface that they should stick together, as two of the three original girlies left in the House.

Bea and Halfwit bonded over their love of music, festivals, peace and free love. Luckily Halfwit didn't even mind when Bea spilt her champagne on him.

Dogface told Kenneth she was surprised about his appearance and personality because from everything she heard about him from Karly - she thought he would be geeky.

Marcus gave Noirin his lowdown on the new housemates. They both agreed that they like them all apart from Tom. Marcus said that he saw through Thomas's game plan in 20 seconds. Marcus said Thomas is only hanging around Charlie because he thinks Charlie will win. He also said Thomas is trying to attach himself to Noirin and Dogface. Noirin said she always agrees with Marcus.

Bea went to the Diary Room to speak to BB and she told Big Brother she was delighted to be in the House and that she thought she would be a really good housemate. She went on to say that she may not play her role in the secret mission as she does not want to be part of someone's demise.

I think Hira missed a chance to endear herself to the public. If she had been clever enough, she could have said to Big Brother that she would not relay the secret mission to the other new housemate, because she would rather take her chances with the eviction rather than put two of the old housemates up. Something that Bea is doing anyway.
