View Full Version : Did Kennith audition for BB?

I am curious about this. Last year Rex's girlfriend, Nicole, didn't actually apply to audition for BB but was allowed into the house because Rex talked lots about her. Kennith said last night that he had just come back from America (and was there for some time). So I have a feeling he did not audition to take part in BB. If this is the case, then don't you think it is very unfair on all those people who did apply to audition?

He might've done, as he seemed more of an individual housemate who just happened to be Karly's bf rather than Nicole being put in there solely because she was Rex's girlfriend.

Also can be applied to Halfwit who allegedly was recruited when the producers met him at a do at his parents' pile.

No he was called up when BB found out Karly was favourite to go...
So they put him in for a "evil" twist, I really liked how they didnt tell anyone this was happening like last year EVERYONE Knew that Nicole was going in...

I wish Kenneth and Karly could of stayed together, but It would be funny if BB put him in thinking Karly would go and then like Noirins name was called out instead... they would be left with him and no evil twist:hello:

it probs is best that karly was evicted.. if karly stayed i bet her and kenneth would have become very boring!

but kenneth seems interesting!! i think what will let him down is if he depresses over karly not being there!

but i dont think he will!

we will have to wait and see :D

Freddie still had to go through the audition process. The only difference with him is that he didn't put in an application for the show. They asked him to audition.

Also, last night someone said something about Kenneth being told during the audition process that Karly might not be in the hosue (I forget if it was Kenneth or Davina). So it might not have been a full process, but I think he was vetted. I don't think it was an automatic thing.

So being asked to go thru the formality of filling an application is not the same as being headhunted??? Poor Halfwit had to bother filling the form so they'd have details for Davina to read out when he stepped out the car - what a chore eh (ergo equal to not really going thrugh the hoops that the poor queuers-up did)

Maybe Kenneth had to fill in this same form too - where is the difference?

When you get the uneven Eton playing fields as that, they're taking the mince out of ordinary auditionees

The difference is: That it looks like Kennith was invited to take part in BB so didn't have to go through the different stages of audition (and then to fill in the form). Freddie was encouraged by a producer friend to audition, which he did and went through all the various stages of auditioning.

Hmm I think BB messed up big time with him. Maybe another female would have been good to throw in because we have a few memorable men already in there!

Here is the difference:

Freddie:
1. Approached by someone and asked to audition for the show. Freddie agrees.
2. Participates in multiple interviews, group exercises, screen tests or whatever else they use to determine who goes on the show.

Normal applicants:
1. Sends in an application to Big Brother asking to be on the show.
2. Participates in multiple interviews, group exercises, screen tests or whatever else they use to determine who goes on the show.

Get it now? So it isn't like someone asked Freddie to be on the show and they were automatically picked. Plus, if you think Freddie was the only one who was personally asked to audition, you'd be mistaken. He was just the only one who made the final cut.

Exactly and well pointed out. The producer friend encouraging Freddie to audition is no different to any of our own friends to audition. And I don't think the producer pulled any strings.
