i can do it but it involves much huffing moaning and swearing while i crawl inside it single quilts i can do fine but my king size one i always end up with bits of cover with no duvet in regardless of how much shaking and stuff i do

Its easy.

Mother told me the trick - drag it up to the top two corners, then shake the cover down :)

My mum told me that too; while she does it effortlessly, I end up swearing, shouting and putting the duvet back down because my arms hurt from dangling the duvet for too long. But I eventually get there :P.
