I haven't been coming to this forum for very long as is shown by my join date. I came here in order to be able to read other's thoughts (and share my own) about the happenings in the house, breaking news, etc. And it seems that there are quite a few others who come here for the same.

But why are there SO many trolls on this forum? Why are people constantly acting out just to spin people up? Why are there people who start 7,223,993 threads about the same subject? Why is this cr*p tolerated? I've seen that there are mods on the forums as I see certain threads moved or, rarely, locked. But yet this behavior and these people remain.

I mean... why would you come to a forum on Big Brother if you weren't interested in actually discussing Big Brother? Why wouldn't you go to a place where people just flame each other randomly all the time. There certainly are enough of those around.

I thought this was supposed to be one of the better forums for the show. Am I wrong? Should I be participating elsewhere?

its the internet so people can leave and say what they want and mods are usually spot on for merging multithread*****s. you just have to deal with it! :spin2:

The funny thing is, this thread has been done about 20 times. Haha. Bit hypocritical really.

Then this forum is much different from others I have joined. Most forums do enforce rules about behavior. And just because it is the internet, you CAN'T just do and say what you want. No one can come to your house and do anything, but they can certainly ban you and delete your posts.

The childishness displayed by some people really ruin it here. I know I am not the only one who feels that way because I have seen others make similar comments.

yeah i agree with u. my head spins half the time from all the threads popping up that are basically commentating on the same topics, plus there's a fair number of individuals on here who just like to make snidey remarks and deliberately provoke people. a large number of reactionary types who don't like to be contradicted on any points or to involve themselves in open, frank discussions. but sure this is the internet..... you just have to deal with it unfortunately

this is a democracy

First of all, the word is CENSOR. When you edit someone else's words, you CENSOR it.

CENSURE is when you issue a reprimand to someone.

And it is Free SPEECH not Free SPEACH. Unfortunately, the Freedom of SPEECH is not relevent in this case because that is something that is guaranteed in the USA and it only means that the US government cannot CENSOR the speech of a US citizen or resident. Last time I checked, I was not the US government.

Lastly, this board is not a democracy. It is not even a government. This board is owned by someone and could be closed to anyone or everyone at any point the owner wished to do so. There would be no VOTE (which is what defines a democracy) that could change it.

Education is a beautiful thing. Maybe you should go read a book rather than being an internet troll.
