Marcus is lucky, most cool dudes and alpha males actually have little to no respect for their weaker opposition ... in this case Marcus.

He's shown respect and manners for the delicate situation, and hasn't milked it with Noirin.

He's a really cool guy, everyone likes him.

Infact I think Marcus likes him. That's a part of his anger perhaps.

Tom's arrival has certainly livened up the house; he seems like a decent guy.
