how do the producers get away with this? why dont they just let the hm's be shown as themselves?

I'm not going to get into this argument.

Obviously though,the people behind BB do have some effect on how people are shown,but at the end of the day,it is never and will never be enough to swing peoples opinions or cover up a housemates real personality.

Not sure if it was editing in Dereks favour, more so it implied that Craig and Roberto were as devious as Derek unfortunatly. I do agree that they should show the housemates as themselves, good, bad or indifferent.....

However, the house is full of them, so he is not out of place.

Never seen such a shower of miscreants and self-serving unhappy beings in one place since my visit to Rampton. (Professionally, I hasten to add!)
