I loved how he let his mane down in last nights HL. ANd then started to say to Noirin "give me a kiss so there is egg on his face". hahahah brilliant choice of new HM BB producers. Marcus is gonna blow. But Noirin is such a little hussy.

I actually feel a little sympathetic towards Marccus. Noirin is fully aware how he feels about her but continues to lead him up the garden path and then back down again on a continued basis.

Yes, he is besotted with her but also extremely frustrated. She gives out so many mixed messages and signals that i'm not surprised he is confused, I AM!!

She is playing with him and his emotions and that is not nice to see, whether it is Marcus or any other man.

She does and I don't agree with what she is doing but for Marcus to ask Noirin if he can give her a piggyback into the bedroom and then if she can kiss him goodnight on the neck infront of Tom is entering a whole new world of patheticness.

I'd be amazed if Tom makes any move on her cuz he's totally aware of the kinda game she's trying to play.

Noirin is NOT playing ANY game. She is ABSOLUTELY clear to Marcus that there is ZERO chance of her allowing any sort of romantic involvement. Bizarrely and unacccountably, she seems to like him as a person. I think he must be doing some of that ...

You honestly think she's not playing Marcus and hasn't been doing so for the last three weeks or so? What about the whole date thing and the, "oh this is so romantic", and "lets dance"? She continually leads him on when she should realise this guy is basically a pervert and give him a wide berth. They're both as culpable as each other in this one.

Marcus is a legend. For all his many faults, his heart really does seem to be in the right place.

Plus he has made me laugh probably more than any other HM and has been involved in many of the best incidents in this year's BB. His argument with Lisa, his declaration that he could kill Sree with one of his eyebrows and his rant against BB in the diary room will live long, long in the memory.

Poor Marcus indeed! His chat with Lisa just shows how deluded he is about the situation. BUT, perhaps if Noirin relaised what she does that makes him cling onto the hope that 'there's something there', she'd stop hanging out with him so much.:shrug:

i like marcus a lot, I think he talks a lot of sense but he makes me cringe over Noirin. I am not sure what I think of Noirin I do have mixed feelings,however to blame her for Marcus thoughts on her, a man who I find a very good judge of character ,is ridiculous.
Noirin has told him constantly she is only a friend, nothing else. How can she be blamed if he does not get it?
Its like the old story of if a woman says no she really means yes and she is asking for it if she smiles at you. So she lets him kiss her neck and carry her into bedroom she did it cause he asked her to put tom in his place as Marcus said he was game playing.

Men have big egos ,even the plainer ones often have more confidence than any woman would. Marcus seems to believe that the fact Noirin spends time with him is proof that she is now realising she has been going for the wrong sort of man all her life. And all she has to do now is reconcile herself to his looks. like beauty and the beast.
even though he has less than half a percent chance of this he has that ego that that says it could happen.
to be fair he has said that he knows it is unlikely to happen but he enjoys the chase, he prefers chasing her to doing other stuff in the house. thats why I do not feel noirin is leading him on because he is clever and knows what is happening he is taking the gamble anyway, HAPPILY.
