STI Testing.

Me and my mate chatting about it now, and I was just wondering if anybody had been tested - or willing to discuss it.

My mate knows somebody who goes so many times a year, even if she has not have sex during the period in between tests.

I'm suddenly very scared of HIV :shocked:

I've always had safe sex but have never been tested, though I've been thinking about it lately.
One of my friends has suggested it to me, he gets tested at the start of each new relationship to make sure he hasn't picked anything up from the last one before it's too late.

I got tested like 2-3 months ago all clear, but i wasnt careful and it was stupid and I thought I had something. Lucky I didn't, my friend did have something. She was a mess, but 3 tablets later and it was all cleared.

Oh and testing couldn't be easier, go to a clinic ask for the pack, use their toilets, pee into a bottle seal it off, and freepost it. Then they text you a week later.

I haven't but my friend got tested a few months ago and got a text back with the results. We were in English and his phone went of to 'You've tested negative to ___!" :p

I've been tested about 5 times. The last one was 2 weeks ago and it's all fine now.
The first time is scary but you have to do it.

Fom, was that just a clamidia test? As usualy a swab would be taken from your third eye as it were.

i was thinking that cos a full test requires swabs too

Never been tested, been with my husband since i was 14 and he was 15.

I think it was a Chlamydia and Gonorrhea test. You pee into a bottle and send it off, I think the swab test might come after, after they detect something now.

Had my first test nearly two years ago and haven't had one since, really should get another done soon.
