Yes Marcus and Noirin get alot of coverage but thats only because of whats going on.

BB does not make Marcus follow her around like a lost puppy. I felt sorry for him to start with but now he is getting on my nerves.

no, i don't think he's thick- he's proven to be very insightful on occassions. i just think he's got an over inflated ego and to suggest to himself that noirin isn't interested in him would be a crushing blow to "mr.cool". he just can't admit that to himself. i think he has great difficulty in controlling his emotions regarding noirin.

Yes Marcus is very good at working people out and people like him also know what they are doing too. He must know by now Mr cool does not look cool anymore, he is worse than Sree.

I think you're right,Marcus does seem emotionally naive.He really can't stand the thought of being rejected either.
He just doesn't get,or rather doesn't want to get the message from Noirin.
Marcus isn't thick,but behind the hard man facade,he seems somewhat insecure.
