I try to be polite but you are really trying my patience and, I daresay, the patience of many other people here with your tiresome repetitiveness.

Well if Ken gets evicted it would be a serious injustice, we need villians, not to win but to stay in during the length of the show. Ken is not your villian like Alexandra or Charley who are evil and destroy peoples self estem, he is a leeching lurch of a villian, not a carbon copy of Nasty Nick but Nick Batemanesque. Without those assssholes the show is nothing.

I suspect his earlier account was banned due to his destructive and insulting behaviour. Certainly all his posts were deleted.

He/She has a general idea of whats going on because good hosuemates always get removed. We love to hate them and love to see them leave, then we say BB is boring, it is the same old story. A story I am sure you heard countless time.

Now that we have another eviction coming up, I think it's only fair to say that you plebs will, yet again, spoil Big Brother 2009. I suspect Ken or Marcus, or possibly Noirin will leave, as opposed to dullards like Dogface or Charlie.
The most frustrating thing (as a viewer and fan of Big Brother is this)…..
YOU LOT.
Aka.. The voters.. aka.. The plebs.. aka.. The morons (you get the idea).
You consistently want interesting (esp argumentative) housemates to leave the house, yet fail to realise that they are the ones who make great TV. Year in, year out, you fcuk-tards vote out the greats, yet save the dull. Even now most people want Marcus or Noirin out.. yet if you take them out of the 3-way love triangle (with Tom), then you’ll inevitably end up with NO friction/arguments. That’s hardly great now is it.
You’d have thought Endemol would have wised up to the general idiocy and plebishness of the voting public, as they really shouldn’t have a say over who stays in, in my most excellent and superior opinion.
Now, we all know that Endemol NEED the cash from the text/phone votes. That's a fact. However, they could easily make you plebs vote on TASKS instead of EVICTIONS. We could have an unpleasant task for the loser, whereby they have to go for a week without alcohol/cigarettes and eat only cold soup and drink warm water.
That way, at least you imbeciles wouldn’t be able to vote out housemates that I deem great tv. And let’s face it, you fools couldn’t even dry a tea-spoon without some form of assistance, let alone decide what contestants should provide viewing pleasure over the entire summer holiday.
But will Endemol change their ways and allow for votes on TASKS (instead of evictions) to happen?
Nah.. because Endemol/Channel4 don't have a truly creative team behind them. They've had a number of years to get it right, yet fail. You morons also fail because you never take into account the consequences of your actions, and we ALWAYS end up with cr*p housemates for the latter half of BB, and all because you didn't think ahead. What fools you are.
And before this post is over, let me also remind you fools that this is NOT Big Brother’s 10th anniversary. Big Brother started in 2000, not 1999. By ‘celebrating’ the 10th ‘anniversary’ or ‘birthday’ like they have been doing all this series, makes for a laughable scenario in which you lot have been duped and didn’t even question it! What plebs! Sheesh. /end rant/
Before you start ranting about it not actually being the 10th birthday perhaps you should lesarn to count.

No one on here deserves to be insulted because we don't agree with the OP. This is a forum where people discuss their views. Everyone has a right to disagree, but no one has the right to insult someone else who has a differing opinion. If the OP talked to people like that in the real world he or she would be likely to get a fat lip.

You are entititled to your rant.
And you are entitled to call the public pleb's sometimes we do act in a very pleb like manner.
Here's the but.
But you are forgetting one crucial human instinct. It is a primal thing which keeps are plebish children safe at night, it keeps society running without it falling into a chaotic winner takes all, biggest gun wins, nightmare landscape of thieves robbing the old and no one lifting a finger to stop them.
We are talking about Man's struggle over Evil. No lesser thing than that.
Let me talk generally, your argument only stands up, if you assume the typical voter wants excitement, controvacy, and arguments, over Best man wins.
To want this is anti-social behaviour i am afraid, once you say Keneth should stay in over Sophie you are saying.
I want Ugly to stay over Beauty.
I want Chaos and Confusion to stay over Peace and Harmony.
I want Arguments over Tranquility.
I want War over Peace.
And i know you would agree that is what you want. My point is you should not get it.
For your desire for war in Big Brother just a tv show, to Triumph over the majority who want peace, does not simply tell a story about what people want in Big Brother, it tells a story of the bigger picture, life in general.
Personally i dont think BB is just "a game show" it's a microcosm of society, we have seen hated figures come out of the house and have their car vandalised, attacked on the street, not be able to get job's on the strength of a BB appearance which proves, what happens inside BB spills out into society. And i have no doubt if you had your way, that would spill out too.
I dont want to live in your BB world, and if the only price i have to pay for that is less arguments, less, bullying, fighting, aggression, bitching, oppression, humiliation, you know all the bad stuff. then i am happy to pay that price.

The thing that makes bb10 so bad is the lack of live streaming. Everything else takes its course. The lack of commitment from C4 and E4 is shameful. Paddy Power give only 6/4 on there being a summer bb in 2010

You sound so clever OP........(clears throat)
Have you taken your revolutionary ideas to Channel 4?
What did they say?
When do you start?
When can we see these wonderful ideas in action?
Will you be funding BB adequately from now on?
Will BB be better than ever?
Will you stop us "morons" from watching?
Will you be taking over Channel 4 completely?
Will you be buying BB producers an abacus so they can work out just long the show has been running?
Will you be buying George Lamb some socks?

Wow, you're like an exact replica of me!
Of course you're right, and I've explained this to some people before. Like I said, the problem is that the voters are not very bright; certainly when it comes to voting on BB at least, anyway.
They keep rationalizing to themselves that they're great by voting out 'baddies'; but they're wrecking the show for themselves and others.
They then complain it's boring, and viewing figures suffer when entertaining HMs leave. Only the b'day week has saved this show.
I agree though, it's weird that endemol didn't do something about this. Surely they'd have changed things to ensure the lively HMs stay till the end? But yes, bores kill the show.
Great post, the fans ruin the show as you outlined. You told them straight.

No they aren't wrong by disagreeing with him, but they are wrong if they can't justify their actions like the OP has justified his.
He's clearly outlined why the voters ruin the show. It's a very simple, blatant argument. And the show's popularity has declined in line with it.
Also, he's explained WHY the voters ruin the show and aren't very bright. Having an opinion can mean nothing and opinions are not equal.
Some opinions hold more weight than others. I could have an opinion that the OP is a murderer, but it would mean nothing and have no weight.

I agree it's about rationalizing to themselves that they are good, moral people; so they vote out baddies and save goodies, despite the huge difference in entertaining value, on a TV show of all things.
That's painfully obvious, and yet it does reflect the general mentality of society. That we at least TRY to uphold good morals and be decent, choosing this over the war/arguments/hatred, etc.
BUT, a more intelligent or wise audience, would know when and where to uphold this mentality for their own benefit. Not just using the same rationale in every action. It doesn't help TV shows, where it's essentially not that real and just screen entertainment.
of course your right op
people vote for selfish reasons, not for the good of the show
then they complain bb is so boring
anyone who replied negative to you is because you hit on the truth and they cant handle that.

Just a tip from me, because I totally understand your frustration. I was horrified when Sree got evicted; I tried campaining for days to save him. The show for me was ruined until the new HMs came in - My favourite show ever, with my fave HM.
But you're going to have a hard time convincing people, because people don't want to be convinced! Especially BB voters who tend to be very strongly opinionated. Look at the fan clubs and hater clubs ... very polarised. Like comparing angels to devils.
Also, it's about how you say things. People tend to ignore anything that even mildy offends them, EVEN if the contained message is VERY USEFUL for them. That's the nature of most people. Bare it in mind.
Look at my karma, you think I post to appease people? :spin2:

It's not really for selfish reasons though, it's just because of rationalization. Like upholding their morals, belief they are a good person, etc.
It's not like they do it to purposefully ruin entertainment or because they actually gain pleasure from viewing Hira.
Remember most voters are female, they often do this moralic rationalizing.

I kinda agree with you, minus all the insults and the Endemol business. We needs to get rid of the boring ones first. I think Hira should go, nothing against her personally but she brings nothing interesting to the house. keep the big players in such as Lisa (although im not a fan), Marcus, Noirin, Tom, ken, etc. Yes some of the names ive mentioned we all hate, but im not saying that they need to win.
This series can't turn into another bb4
I am afraid the kinds of arguments advanced by Moron and AhmedFan rest on a number of errors in reasoning:
ERROR 1: That those who vote to evict people they dislike would enjoy the show more if they did not vote to evict people they dislike.
There is simply no reason to believe this. Indeed, evicting people you do not like itself constitutes a part of the enjoyment of the show. The evictions of Sree and Kris are among my fondest memories of BB10 so far.
ERROR 2: I would prefer it if Sree/Kenneth/Marcus/Sophie/whoever were not evicted, so that person not being evicted would make it a better show.
Closely connected to Error 1 and evidenced nicely in one of AhmedFan's posts in this very thread, when he says how the show went downhill for him after Sree was evicted. I recall the many doomsayers telling us all how the show would be rubbish after Sree was ousted from the House. Well it wasn't for me. The show didn't go downhill for me, nor for many others here. I loved Sree being evicted. While he was an interesting HM, alternative narratives have arisen to replace those he was involved in and the show goes on.
ERROR 3: That people's complaints that BB is "boring" are linked to the eviction of certain HMs that AhmedFan and Moron would prefer stay in the House.
Again, there is simply no evidence for this. I search in vain for the many threads from repentant voters wishing they had evicted Halfwit instead of Sree and campaigning for his triumphant return to the House so that he can irritate the hell out of them for a few more weeks. Complaints that the show is "boring" are inevitable from some, and for many it is simply the result of the novelty of a nine-year-old format having worn off. There is little if any evidence to suggest they are in any way linked to the eviction of AhmedFan and Moron's favourite Housemates.
The fundamental error underlying all such complaints is simply generalising one's own desires to others, or taking one's own desires and projecting them onto the show as if they are objective aesthetic properties of the show.
I am sure that such threads will continue, although it would be nice if certain people could express their opinions on the matter without a constant stream of childish insults. However, in the end it is just a few people making the groundless claim that everyone else's desires are just wrong. I see no reason to accept any of it.
