24 000 words, woah! That's a hefty load of writing just before a lengthy dissertation. I would have hated that. I'm sure you'll be fine though, it can be boring as hell, but you get through it.

And yes, I'm still plodding away, I'm so over hospitality though.

I'm not sure! They've moved the Dissertation from Feb to April now because they've introduced to us a brand new module which is ****ing difficult and very very lengthy (about 24,000 words by Xmas). Even if I had a good, firm Dissertation idea I wouldn't even be able to start it until post-Xmas.

I've got a lot of reading to do and really big bits of coursework. And on top of that I'm poor and have no idea what I want to do for my dissertation
