2012 is not something special for me. I find it a little dull and forgettable. 2009 is very catchy and enjoyable. The instrumental in the bridge was awesome!

    What is your favourite then?

Yes, she was my winner. "Drip Drop" remains one of my favorite songs.

But on the other hand, Azerbaijan performed first and Denmark last so the final result is reasonable...

Armenia was my 3rd favorite that year, Germany is a bit lower in my top so I agree with you.

"In A Moment Like This" is just the typical generic pop song from Denmark for me. I liked it but I don't think it deserved top 5... and first of all, it definitely didn't deserve to place above my beloved Safura!

I liked Belgium too but 6th place? Nope. Very overrated.

True. Denmark and Belgium didn't deserve to be above it in the scoreboard.

Slovakia was robbed indeed but I understand that it was inaccessible for most people. It was not a mainstream song or one that non-Eurovision fans would consider "cool".

    Oh, I loved "Apricot Stone"!

For example, Armenia did very well with an original song this year and Ukraine even won. But do you remember Slovenia 2010 or Georgia 2012? These were pretty original songs too but almost no one liked them.

I mean that sending original songs is a risk, you never know how it will turn out.

Yes, you're right. I think this year the general quality of the entries is going to be unpredictable. Countries will try to imitate Jamala and send original songs but I really hope they don't end up with "too weird" ones.
