Sounds like a good thing to do, if you stay until summer then you get a whole year away from the winter here! Are the people nice there? I always imagined it to be like 1950's Britain or something

Probably stay here until the summer and then see where I end up. A free gym and free lunch is always a nice bonus with a job, and it gets you out of the house and gets some extra money, so winning all round there.

ooh right, Auckland. Are you going to stay there then or just staying for a while? um with the job it's nothing special just a receptionist in a hotel. It has a Gym though so free entry and they have a nice restaurant so free lunch too I get bored these days at home and I think I'd quite like the interaction with the people, I used to like that when I did other jobs like that I guess

I'm in Auckland atm, but have done all of South Island. Heading back down there for the summer too. What career would you switch to?

well I'm thinking about changing careers, I'm bored stiff of the job I'm doing at the moment. Not sure if I can hack working full time though as I'm really lazy, I guess that's sort of an adventure. I always wanted to visit New Zealand especially the South Island. A friend of mine went on a cruise there recently and sailed up to Papua New Guinea, she said it was really good scenery. Is that where you are???

I'm in winter (which hasn't been too bad) but looking forward to the summer. Had a few bouts of homesickness but managed to battle through.
