I currently like groups/artists like Outfit and Satellites who are a bit more acoustic and minimal. I could not begin to go through what is in my record/cd collection. Haha. There is Grace Jones/The Smiths/De La Soul/The B-52's/The Cocteau Twins/The Eurythmics/Jesus And Marychain/Siouxsie and The Banshees/Mary J Blige/New Order/Snow Patrol/X Ray Spex. I have hundreds. I just keep buying more. Don't you find when you get one CD soon you think of another one you would like? I tend to make it my mission to get one, and then when I have done, focus on something else. Unless it's an impulse buy in a sale.

Well I am a big Blondie fan. I love the earlier stuff best though and lost interest after Autoamerican. I like The Stone Roses and The Velvet Underground too. I initially had an interest in disco and then punk. Lol. I then became a fan of 2tone ska, but was also interested in experimental sounds from groups like The Human League and Kraftwerk. I then became more interested in industrial artists such as Swans, Coil and Foetus. Jim Thirlwell (Foetus) is still a prolific artist to this day who I admire and enjoy his releases. I got into the house music scene in the late 80's/early 90's regularly going to Legends and The Hacienda in Manchester, amongst others. I have always loved the indie scene though and was interested in dance through the 90's/00's but have lost a bit of interest in that at the moment.

Yeah I'm the same..I love albums 'cos you get all the artwork and sometimes the lyrics too..but I don't have much on vinyl 'cos I don't have a record player but my dad has some really good original records from the 60's/70's which I stole and copied like The Velvet Underground, Grateful Dead etc. My favourite well known artists that I always listen to are Jane's Addiction, Stone Roses, Libertines, Charlatans, RHCP & Teenage Fanclub but that's just because I grew up with them I guess... I like so many other artists from other era's too for instance I love Nina Simone, Blondie & T-Rex..it's hard just to pick just a few..What are the artists you listen to the most?

I always buy CD's or vinyl. I prefer something physical and detest downloads, although they are good if you want to listen to something instantly. I very rarely use them though. I'm a sucker for a box set too. I recently bought an album that was limited to 500 copies only in 2 x 10 inch green vinyl in a gatefold book with a cd included, rather than just the regular cd. I like collectors items. I have a load of old vinyl too going back to the 70's, although I have sold a chunk of it off as some of it had some worth to it. I always replace them on CD though if I can. Which are some of the artists you enjoy?

Oh there's a lot. There's some older stuff like Garbageman and Goo Goo Muck, and they did some covers of 50's stuff like Surfin' Bird and Human Fly. Then there's some 80's tracks like Can Your Pussy Do The Dog? and What's Inside A Girl? Bikini Girls With Machine Guns and the likes of Get Off The Road are covers of songs from Russ Meyer films. And then there's tracks like Georgia Lee Brown. There's so many. I like The Smell Of Female live album. One of my favourite tracks is "You Got Good Taste".

That sounds a really good idea. I suppose local bands can reach a wider audience that way. You will have to let me know what you think of The Cramps once you have listened to them. If you like their sound I can suggest some tracks for you.

Oh cool...me too I will listen to most things but I really like going to see live bands play...A local establishment has just kick started the music scene here by hosting a monthly event called 'This scene isn't dead' where they get two or three bands to play a night..and best of all it's free! I just love new sounds that I haven't heard before I guess...I'm gonna listen to The Cramps when I can get on La Tube tho!

Hi Bollo. I am into all sorts of music. I have quite diverse taste. I like dance, punk, indie, hip hop, alternative, industrial, electro....I used to go and see bands play, but no so much recently. I'm always looking for new music though. How about yourself?
