Side note: how nice are the houses in USA? They look sooooo nice on pics and stuff when loads of them here are absolute trash. Like so many estates (mostly in ldn) and just basic houses but in America they all look classy as hell.

It's true that it's possible, but I still feel like majority of people end up losing much more in the end. There was this guy, probably 60+ who used to hang out in the pub/hostel I stayed at and he legit spent ALL his time in the bookies which was a 1 min walk away and the pub, he used to even fall asleep in there and the staff had to wake him up

Yeah that's basically it here too lol. I thought restaurant jobs were a lot better pay in USA though because of the almost guaranteed tips? Yeah unfortunately as soon as I go back to ldn I gotta get a job now, I had fun for 3 years but I do need/want proper income now to do things. The way you play on poker anybody would guess otherwise that your job ain't that bad.

it reminds me country music, so that's already a plus. But I can't take ha on its own still gotta have some kind of mixer. That song tho <3

Yeah I agree @ ultimately losing (with all games vs. the casino anyway) like eventually everyone does lose in the long run besides some lucky mfers. But poker & sports betting you can ACTUALLY continue to profit on if you know what you're doing and get some luck along the way, easily the best

Ah 1/3-1/4 of that weekly would be like a really low-end non-college job around here, pretty much fast food, bar, retail type job, which ain't bad like I'm not toooo much better off in pay with my current job and I have a college degree and really boring (but easy/reliable) job When you go back to London do you think you'll be looking for a job or you not havin it atm?

Ah ok I literally don't think I've ever even heard it, might be a southern thing. Honestly, and idk why, but I feel like you'd fall in love with tequila So it's prob best you don't get into it And I always think of Tequila by Dan+Shay when I hear tequila

Oh there's a couple of country songs I've heard shooters in I think it's something similar to a shot but not *just* alcohol. Ahh I used to make the mistake of drinking too quickly but it's less fun and then I'd be done in like an hour Lol yeah probably true, the taste is baaaad but the one I do really want to try is tequila, looks so nice yet gets so much hate

Ohh wow that's quite a win actually. I guess it could work at least a few times but ultimately you're always gonna lose at some point. Happens with all the betting eventually

Deffo messyyyy lol. Always sit there like not really knowing how to respond yet trying to act interested

Yeah it's usually in bigger amounts less often, maybe because he does contract work or something. So they told him that they aren't gonna take taxes off right now cus of corona, he said to me last night that he was gonna try and run with it I think I'd make like 1/3 of that with whatever job I end up doing lmaoo.

Yeah like if you put $5 on a single number it’s like $180 win I believe, but betting 10 diff #’s you’re risking $50 each time then. Basically in the long run the odds will make everyone lose tho unless your luck beats the odds smh

Lmao @ deep high conversations Turns into a mess (or usually hilarious)

Ah do they pay him afterwards in a big chunk like that?? I make like half of that (well after taxes taken off, is that pay after taxes?) so I’m jealous too. I really need to be applying for a better job tho

Nah we say shots, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard shooters why? And you’re definitely kinda right, I take down aaany drink quickly & it tends to not hit me right away but I just stick to a few drinks a lot of the time so I don’t get hit toooo hard normally anyway I can’t just sip on a drink forever let alone a shot... oh STOP just sipping on the shots they’re so much easier to just chug down lol that’s prob why you don’t like them

Yeah it's every week, he said they've gotta pay him like £7,000 for the work he's done so far which is NICE

Lmaoo I've only had sambuca but I had to sip it along with cider because I don't think I could do it. And do y'all say shooters not shots? It's weird but I actually feel like the slower you drink the more drunk you get? When I drink quick/a lot at a time it takes a while for it to hit or feel a difference. Maybe you should try it out some time
