But as you say the flip side is the bias, I know that's a very unpopular thing to say, but loads of others feel the same as me on this, cos they've told me.

I have put a couple of people on ignore now, which should solve the problem, but it kind of creates another one. When I do my elim game, I won't be able to see their predictions, and much as I feel bad that will affect them being able to play, they should have thought of that before they start with the deliberate windups.

you know what Jords, you just put the whole thing brilliantly, a good summing up. It's pretty much exactly how I feel, what you have just said. I know it would be really hard when you are very good friends with someone, to infract them, I'd find myself in a dilemma a lot in their shoes, because I get on with a lot of people on here, so I do appreciate their position and that it isn't easy. I said a while back, I like how the mods don't hold a grudge though, I have disagreed with a fair few of them, and afterwards they are absolutely fine with me, move on and don't treat me any differently, which is really good, to be able to separate having to do their mod duties with forum life.

I dont have a problem with mods being forum members as long as they do their job properly although I know true well that some turn a blind eye when a member they like deserves an infraction because Ive spoken off-forum to them. I think however theres enough mods on to monitor TiBB efficiently and the TiBB staff account hides their identity so they shouldnt mind too much having to dish out.

I do reckon mods shouldnt really voice opinions on-forum so much when sorting out a mess because they do end up being bias if they mean to or not. And that does wind people up and rightly it would me although I tend to resolve things quickly or leave the thread before that, its the best way trust me!!

I'm sick of getting slapped down when I complain about certain members. I had to back down on it yesterday cos as I said, I do really like the mods, but we are all fallible and on.this forum Er should have somewhere else to go when there is a stalemate situation. There is resentment over this type of thing and its a shame because they are only doing their mod job, but imo mods should not also be forum members. With all respect its impossible to be impartial. Human nature. I'm not criticising them for it. But its unfair.
