Im alright thanks, im just hating what seems to be like gun shots as you put it.

Fireworks have been crazy,they are a fair way away from the houses where we are but the noise is murder from the really loud banging ones,it's like gunfire, the Dog really gets very anxious.
Dreading tonight once I get back home and it gets dark. They will likely be even worse tonight,I'd love to know when Guy Fawkes night suddenly became Guy Fawkes 'weeks' because it is a mystery to me.
Other than that I am fine and really hope you are too.

I've had to put up with loads of fireworks tonight, have you? if so how is your Dog taking it?

That's rough luck, hopefully it will be fine.

They are not going off that near us to be fair, but we hear them all the same,there are some really noisy firewprks on sale now, also the flashes of the airborne ones are scary for animals too.
It's a sign of the times Mockinator,sadly.

Can't you try and reason with them about it? or have you tried and they've still ignored you anyway?

He is fine as long as I am there when they are going off, but he has to climb onto the chair I am sitting on and he stays there beside me until they stop.
The problem is rather than it just being one night,they go on for days before and most of the week after the 5th November too,that annoys me.

And im worried about the fireworks aswell as I always bump into the drunks where I live anyway so it's gonna be even worse when the fireworks go off.

Good luck trying to look after your Dog though as it's not gonna be easy.

I am fine, are you okay, looking forward to the weekend although dreading the fireworks that are likely to be going off as they really scare my Dog.
