Im alright thanks Joey, and im glad Obama won as Romney would have been an awful President I think.

Worn out today Mockinator, had a heavy day with Uni work and watched the US election until Obama was declared the winner through the night.
Got some easier days ahead now so will be okay now.

Im alright thanks, im just hating what seems to be like gun shots as you put it.

Fireworks have been crazy,they are a fair way away from the houses where we are but the noise is murder from the really loud banging ones,it's like gunfire, the Dog really gets very anxious.
Dreading tonight once I get back home and it gets dark. They will likely be even worse tonight,I'd love to know when Guy Fawkes night suddenly became Guy Fawkes 'weeks' because it is a mystery to me.
Other than that I am fine and really hope you are too.

They are not going off that near us to be fair, but we hear them all the same,there are some really noisy firewprks on sale now, also the flashes of the airborne ones are scary for animals too.
It's a sign of the times Mockinator,sadly.

Can't you try and reason with them about it? or have you tried and they've still ignored you anyway?

He is fine as long as I am there when they are going off, but he has to climb onto the chair I am sitting on and he stays there beside me until they stop.
The problem is rather than it just being one night,they go on for days before and most of the week after the 5th November too,that annoys me.
