..hmm, I would have thought the tax haven would be cheaper drinks and stuff...is it the Channel Islands....?..I've never been there but I've always thought that Sark would be a good place to visit..isn't that where there are no cars allowed..I'm a rubbish driver anyway and parking is quite the complicated thing...

..yeah, I can see what you mean in that you can go out into the nightlife/shops etc and then when you go back to your flat and close the door...it's like you've shut it all out in another world..?..people say that you don't make friends so much in towns and cities because everyone does their own thing and there isn't a 'community'..do you find that James..?...

..I envy you the museums etc..and the theatres/cafes...I think London at night is amazing...but I struggle with the shops/crowds and just finding places, I guess....

..yeah, I can see the pitfalls...but think it creates a nice contrast maybe....kind of it you work in the city or town and then go back if you want a haven ..and yeah lol...there are always people you don't get along with so well and it can be a bit claustrophobic...and also restricting...what I find is kind of bumping into parents everywhere and not being able to get away from work etc...so it's easier to become a hermit crab..which I think I was born for anyway....

..so, after such a small community, what were your first impressions of London, James...do you love the city life....?...it's quite a big contrast and I think maybe it's a love it or hate it type thing..?...

..I'm fairly much snowed in here and I hate driving in it so it gives me an excuse to be a hermit crab and that's never a bad thing for me..there's always an upside to everything...I think maybe I would like to live on small island though, grey has always been one of my favourite colours lol...maybe I could find a small bit of land on one and build a hut on it...just some fruit trees and fish to spear and a few books...life wouldn't get any better than that James..oh a bit of music as well and then I would call it heaven...hmmm, I wonder if I can convince my family to come with me....
