I'm in the same area, I'm pretty overleveled though since I struggled at first against Caius in Oerba because I didn't unlock the Saboteur role by then and grinded a bit too much to compensate

I'm doing some last minute monster training before I go onto the next chapter though, I'm trying to infuse Lightning with all the Ravager abilities as well as trying to get a strong monster for each role. I've got a Commando, Ravager, Sentinel and a Medic but I want to get a good Saboteur and a Synergist before I proceed.

Ah, I infused him into the Flanitor but I don't use medic monsters too much to be honest. Noel's too good at it.

If I was you I'd get the Goblin Chieftan because he's an epic Sentinel, his Feral Link heals you for a little bit and pretty much casts all the synergist spells on you.

I just pretty much used RAV/RAV/SEN to stagger Amodar and then switched to COM/RAV/RAV to get his stagger rating up high and then I switched to COM/COM/COM to deal a lot of damage. It's best to get rid of Amodar first since after you kill one of them the other starts to use their Feral Link and Lightning's can be completely tanked by the Sentinel while Amodar's damages the whole team. Lightning's pretty easy by herself.

Have you got the Goblin Chieftan? His Feral Link is a lifesaver.
