...you’re really excellent and darkness, Dezzy...the Darkwood stories are so well written....so you could say darkness is your thing, in a way..?...I think darkness can be made lighter as well by just putting lighter tones of things like humour, etc...?...it’s strange because when I think of some of the darker stories I’ve read or darker movies I’ve seen, it’s more ‘suggestion’....I mean more so than gore and ripping apart etc.....and you’re really so good on that ‘build up’ of a character...I think you’re so good at creating an understanding of why they do and how it all came about...but at the same time, making someone very scary and ‘unlikeable’ If that makes sense....

...yeah I think ‘less is more’ can apply to chapters as well...if it feels right, having less detail then it feels right so is right, if that makes sense.....I think you’ll know when you read it through a few times, Dezzy...but then, try not to overthink as well...it’s hard to step outside and become a reader when you’re the author, isn’t it...
