I thought her vocals had improved massively since the rehearsals. To me, the staging did work but I wasn't too sure bout the dancers/choreography

Well, her live vocals were not good at all, the backing singers sang better than her. And the staging just didn't work for me personally. It's a shame because the studio version is amazing.

But yes, you are right, too many good entries...

The rehearsals was really bad, but I don't get what was so bad about the live version. But, the problem this year for me was that most songs in the final were underrated as they were mostly all good songs

I agree with all you've said but 2016 underrated? I mean, I looooove the studio version of "Miracle" but live it was a disaster.

To me, that's the only overrated azerbaijan entry apart from 2014 maybe. And to me, 2016 was underrated

Yeah, 2008 really was horrible. I think the fact that it was a new country and such an out there act got it such a high place for such a bad song
