It's the whole point. I accept that she is your friend and you will defend her at all costs, but I'm afraid not all of us are her friends as well, and thus you need to accept that we are judging her as a housemate not a person [well, at least some of us are]...as that is the whole point of Big Brother.

There is a difference between a person and a housemate - and they should be judged like that. Big characters should remain, and bores should go home. Then we have a good show for the full run, instead of it fizzling out towards the end.

At the end of the day, Big Brother is a gameshow + entertainment show. And housemates like Rachel, I'm afraid, do not keep it alive.

Maysoon, Suzie, Kara Louise were all bores, I will agree with that. But Rachel was one of the biggest bores. The only person that could possibly take that title off her is Hira...or Laura - so perhaps I should've named them as well. But hey, they didn't win...

The rest you named, although I wasn't a fan of most of them, at least did something and contributed to the show.

Anyway, I know she is your friend but at the end of the day, that is irrelevant. This is a Big Brother forum and any person entering Big Brother is going to be scrutinised - they willingly put themselves up for it by entering that show.

I have never said and will never say that she is a bad person, because she isn't. I'm fully aware of that. She is a nice and lovely girl, I'm not going to dispute that - but I am afraid she was an awful housemate. She didn't contribute anything to show, infact I didn't know her name until about Week 6 and she had no impact whatsoever. This show is built upon discussion and debate. Big characters with big personalities cause those discussions and debate, whether loved or loathed. And it is those housemates that should remain until the end each year - as they are the ones that have kept this show alive for ten years. Housemates like Rachel do not start discussion and debate and have not kept this show alive for the last ten years. That is not an opinion [nor just mine], not up for discussion - it is fact. I have hated quite a few housemates over the years, but I have admitted they need to stay in in order to keep the show alive.
