..Happy Friday Dezzy.....

.....I'll take care of the breakfast, lunch and dinner and you create the adventure/a heavenly team....

..yeah, I think I probably just knew that I wanted there to be an event but I hadn't exactly decided what it would be so I just kept them eating their toast and cornflakes while I was making my mind up...probably not the best way to approach a story but I've only ever written poetry before...maybe I'll give it another go and go back to it when I have time...we can struggle and toil together if you look at beginning some writing yourself and I hope that you do.....so a happy Monday sir......

...anyway, I knew how I wanted it to move one to turn into a not so 'normal' day and the adventure he was going to have and how bizarre it was all going to be but somehow I just couldn't get him away from that breakfast table, I just couldn't get him out off the door Dezzy...anyway, I'm not such a fine writer as you and you would have got him out of the door and into a world of magic and fantasy because it's what you do so well...oh and also..what makes Darkwood so great and what makes it such a pleasure to be part of is because we all become a part of your stories/the choices etc that we make are secondary to that..it's the waiting for each chapter and how you develop it all that makes it so special....

..another two part message/the sequel.... my problem with writing is that I find it hard to 'move people' and move the story on..I know where I want to go but I can't seem to think of how to get there..I might have told you this before so I apologise if I'm being a bore/or it might have been Niall I was talking to..anyway, I started to write something a few years ago and I was ok with the beginning, it was all very 'normal' and something I was familiar with..the main character 'Max' was a young adolescent and having breakfast with his family and I had no problem with all of that and the 'every day' stuff and chit chat etc and all the rushes and converstaions that families have in the mornings and when they're all starting their day and how they grunt and interact with each other/squabble etc...

....it'll be great as well Dezzy, I know it will be..you have the ideas and you have the abilities to write and when you start to do that and put it all down, it will start to flow together and even at times when you just can't get it to work, when you go all blank with it, just put it to one side until it flows again and then continue with it..this is something that I know that you can do and try to believe that yourself because it really is true...

..and happy Sunday young sir.....oh btw I did join my son's clan and it turns out to be a good decision because he's quite a devious and tactical person and powerful ally...who would have thought it.....

..I talk too much.....

..part two and three/the final chapter......special guest appearances to be revealed...



..?... just kind of ease into it..but I'm sure that all the games etc that you've played and their stories must have your imagination full of all sorts of possibilities and I really don't believe there isn't a great story in there, I know there is and I know the quality of your writing as well so really, really it would be so wrong not to do it Dezzy....

..this is a two part message because it's too long to fit into one.....part 1 of the boxset/......


..it's a shame it'll be the last one but I do understand, it's good for these to end on a high and do something new ..for yourself more than anything...you could write a book though, Dezzy, I really believe that you could, you have to try to believe in yourself because I know that you weren't happy at all with your Eurovision but it was so, so good...if you know what you want to write about then you only really have to get over starting it but you can get ideas for that by looking at other stories...it can be something really simple as well, I think that something that starts slow and then builds is always fascinating so try not to put pressure on yourself to 'overthink' the beginning maybe..?...

...yeah, I know..how to start it is often the worst but when you do, don't think it's all going to be that hard because it always start to flow and the characters kind of just take their own paths, you know..they kind of lead your writing because you get to know them and understand how they will react to things...you're especially good at fantasy stuff and that's hugely popular now as well with things like the Hunger Games, I could imagined you have writing a story like that..so maybe the start will be a bit challenging but you will do it and it'll be worth it, maybe shorter stories if you wanted..?...

..oh, when are we going to get the next chapter of Darkwood and yes please can I apply.....it really was a great 'game' to be in but that's the thing though, it's different from any other game because it's really all about the story and the writing....
