..a heavy object is always a better and safer option than a gun in story lines like that, I think...

..(I think..)...because that bit wasn't entirely clear to me but it seemed like he thought of her/or moulded her into his 'perfect child'..obviously it was sexual a well because he was a paedophile but then she started to become older and more a partner/wife, so he wanted to have another 'perfect' child with her...ughhh though, I just knew that the gun wouldn't have any bullets in, do these victims never watch TV....(well probably not if you're kept in a cellar for 13 yrs..)...but I would have just ran when his head was in the water as fast as I could....
