    Fetch The Bolt Cutters
Now I yearn to follow you in everything I do
All those years in isolation helped me want for you
Lead me to a place I'm free from all the wrongs I do
In, in, in, in return I'll live forever loving you

Closer, I'm here to be closer
Closer to you, to you, to you, to you
    Closer, I'm ready now closer
Closer to you, to you, to you, to you... Oh!

    In my mind, eternal darkness
Seemed like it was true (True, true, true)
Oh so wretched, wretched, wretched, wretched
My savior knew I was weary (I was lost)
I was sleepy but you held me through
Carried me along the sand your footsteps gold and good

Closer, I'm here to be closer
Closer to you, to you, to you, to you... Oh!
    Closer, I'm ready now closer
Closer to you, to you, to you, to you... Oh!

    All those years in isolation
    Isolation...
    Isolation...

There were all kinds of religions in the Middle East before Islam, and in fact, Islam, Christianity and Judaism all kind of believe similar things. They all recognise Moses for instance, and Jews and Muslims acknowledge Jesus as a prophet, but not as the son of God.

Of course it's violent, it's about the battle of Waterloo! The real battle...and it was a bloody one.

I'm just wrapping my last few presents now. I've done almost all my shopping online, I hate schlepping round the shops while everyone's caught up in the Christmas madness. And I see you're keeping your area topped up with wine this year!

Got something nice planned for the weekend? Any Christmas parties? x

Islam is one of the youngest religions, it's only just over a thousand years old. Christianity is two thousand years old...

Waterloo. It's about the Battle of Waterloo! Nothing to do with ABBA LOL...

I'm off to do my last little bit of shopping for Christmas today. It's exhausting having Hanukkah AND Christmas... but everyone loves Christmas. And we get Doctor Who!

    Hope you're having a good day x

As we're on a Hitler vibe...

Well, Judaism has been around a lot longer than all the others. Not sure if that means anything LOL... but I'm down with it.

The book is Waterloo by Bernard Cornwall. I dropped massive hints I wanted it.

Buggers - cutting down your hours. Are you working over Christmas? I'm off till 5th Jan officially, so long as nothing changes.

I've had an okay day. Had a message from a girl I went to school with and haven't seen for ages, that was quite nice. Nothing much else to report. Hope your day's going well.

I didn't pet them because they're wild animals and they shouldn't get too trusting in humans because we suck, really.

Part of my job is that if I'm needed I'm expected in, even if it's to cover someone who's got a crisis on. All quiet so far though...

Is it a myth or fact... well that very much depends on whether you believe it or not. We eat fried food because of the oil, it represents the lamp oil that lasted for eight days. My first night prezzie from my parents was a book. They get a little more impressive as the days go on LOL...

Hope you're having a good day.

Nah, I didn't try to pet them. But they did come right up to the boat. And yes, the stories about dolphins' interaction with humans is really heart-warming.

Everything's fine on HMS Livia thank you. Finished work for the holidays now and just hoping I won't get called in. Glad your job's going well, and I understand about the getting bored thing. Drives me mad too, I'd rather be really busy.

Hanukkah is a celebration based on the Jews winning a war against the Greeks. There was only enough lamp oil left for one night, but it lasted for eight nights, which is why Hanukkah lasts eight nights. That's it in a nutshell... and we celebrate by eating fried food. Oh, and you get a present on every night... sweet.

You know Hitler was a corporal, right? Be wary of corporals...

The dolphins were spectacular. They were wild but I suppose well used to people because they did come right up to the boat and have a little show-off. It was surreal. I've seen them before in the wild but never that close.

Hanukkah starts at sundown so it's only just started really. I'm off to light a candle and have dinner with my parents.

How are you anyway? How're things with you?
