Here are some tips.

an is used when there is a vowel. For example an apple. The vowels are a,e,i,o and u.

a is used when the word begins with a consonant. For example a tree.

Ok?

Also spek, or something like that is incorrect. It is speak, as in to speak to someone.

And don't worry, I'll keep helping you till you get the hang of it.
