Sazh never really needed to be in the sequels, His story was pretty much finished with XIII.

The game really needed a few more main missions, They could have done a proper storyline mission for Mog and Vanille and possibly even a follow up mission for Caius and Yeul since they felt very haphazardly placed in the ending and the conclusion to their mission was unsatisfying.

I think her face changed because she fused with Lumina at the end, she looked a lot more like a grown up Lumina than Lightning.

Yeah Sazh felt like an afterthought in this game, they even gave his Eidolon to Noel.

Yeah, it looked like it and the whole 'the Crystal Legends happened before you were born' stuff definitely backs it.

I really liked the ending, it's a shame that the game doesn't really have a story until the last day but it's a great last day.

Element isn't bad either, you can get them by killing the angel things.

Thundara and Aerora are the best spells for build stagger.

Yeah, you should do them if you haven't already. It's well worth it.

Use the saboteur abilities if you haven't been using them already, Imperil is amazing in this fight. I'd also recommend putting a spell on each of your Schemas so you can cast spells constantly. Do you have Beatdown and a spear? Jumps tend to raise his Stagger bar quite quickly.

I completed it. The final boss was surprisingly easy.
