Crying babies on the road is the devil itself. Especially during long flights -when you see them at the beginning you know you're screwed.
My big dream (for years) is moving to England, I knew it's my place in the world from the get-go. I'll finally get my EU passport this year (courtesy of my grandma who's originally from Romania, but WW2 and everything made it hard to reclaim it up until now) but then again brexit came along and ruined my plan A. Anyway, it will be easier then these days when I submit my CV and it usually gets denied for not even being from the EU. I'm qualified enough to work in a decent tech job and pay some pretty nice taxes to the UK in return but I'm stuck in the routine of applying to tons of positions -> hardly getting one positive reaction (which doesn't go far either) -> deep frustration.

My country celebrates the jewish holidays and I come from a jewish family (religion and I are worlds apart though - Hanukkah who? ), so I had zero experience with Christmas in real life. I didn't have the chance of having the full Christmas morning/boxing day thing (it must be exciting, at least the first few), but I'm fine with just walking down the streets with the markets and the whole festive atmosphere. My family decided to go abroad for the holiday and they don't care about me being an opportunist brat so there was I joining them
I'd say Norway/S. Korea intrigue me. And after being 3 times to London, one day I'll be doing a full UK trip and settle down (but that's a whole different story).
Wow, London to Newcastle must be one heck of a ride. That's great, it must be great getting all together after a long time with this distance and not seeing each other.

It was freezing cold (wearing 4 layers doesn't help) but I enjoyed it. It's my second trip to Europe on Christmas, and it's a wonderful and special experience (as an up until recently Christmas-virgin).
I guess my 2017 one could be Berlin again or London (which I'm planning on going either way around June, as it was a great success earlier this year).
And that's me looking like a man of the world show-off
What have you been up to this holiday?

That's great! I've just got back from Prague so I can't complain either.
I see that your secret Santa disappeared with your gifts (has someone been naughty this year? ), and as I didn't have the time to make a good investigation - imagine some good pictures of the things you like the most.
    and this.

    Sorry for the late reply!

Weird how since our last message, literally a day ago, her mum has now passed. What a horrible time for that family.

I did love the film, it was so brutal as well with all the killings (K-2SO </3333)

Yeah it was great, different from usual (we've been through a lot as a family this year) but still enjoyable and thankful for what we have. I have a few stories that I'll share when it's not 2:37am lmao. Enjoying my time off too.

Thanks once again for the Santa gift, even though it's all make believe I couldn't imagine a better member doing it, much appreciated
