It sounds so nice, I would so dine there.

Here in the UK, well in Scotland, when a person dies; someone has to go to the office for Births, Deaths and Marriages: for a death certificate to be official, have to go up with the deceased persons birth certificate, marriage cert etc - it's just a bit of officialdom that we have to do here in this part of the world.

PMSL..... but what do you say!!! The words are out there.... worse is when something bad has happened and you say totally the wrong thing. (ie: when I was walking up to register my father's death - some innocent guy with his heart in the right place said, "Cheer up love, it might never happen". I think I managed to find every curse word possible on him - left him feeling terrible - and me too - as he wasn't to know. he just said the wrong thing at the wrong time - we all do it. C'est la vie and all that.

Oh I've fallen for that one as well..... it's surprising how often that does happen and no matter how you try to 'cover it up' and recover from it........ you know the person is wounded. ouch. but still funny in it's own sick way.

has to get the award for the most cringeworthy thing I have ever done! LOL. Not one I'm likely to repeat in a hurry. Thank god all I left message wise was factual rather than my own personal thoughts.... now THAT would have been awkward.

I've not fallen prey to that text message side: but I have by leaving a voice message to the person 'above' the person I meant to call.... discussing the other person that I called accidentally who didn't have a personalised voicemessage. Given that it was work related and in the middle of the person's disciplinary - that was one of my biggest cringe moments! AAARRGH.

heh heh... that's the kind of thing I mean ! I've received a few texts and I'm like WHAT????? !!!! You're right though Nicole, some of them are really funny!

LOL.... would you believe I've still got a mobile that I bought about 9 years ago....... tee hee...... I gave up on iphones / ipads. All I see is them getting smaller years ago - only for them all to start getting bigger again now!!! It's technology going back the way!
