I bought a new drafting table but I'm trying to figure out how to make something so that sketchbooks don't slide off.

I can hold it with one arm, but that isn't as glamorous. Thinking of getting some wood and tiny suction cups and making something like that that'll stick... maybe even a strip of coated metal or something.
I started doing ink work with dip pens (think calligraphy), but I prefer to have it in my sketchbook as I'm still getting used to the medium and want to actually save them so I can see my progress.
At least the medieval period is not as boring/plain as some of the periods we had to cover. You should take a dip pen to school and write all your notes medieval style, maybe you'll get extra credit?

Nah, probably will be the first person called for being a teacher's pet. I noticed the closer you sat to the front, the more likely you're going to be called... all the art buffs sat at the front of the class and they always raised their hands.
