Some of those smaller lottery games are a bit better like "Pick 3, Pick 4" ones where you need to match 3-4 single-digit numbers. But then the win isn't even that spectacular anyway & the fun / time-passing just ain't the same so I'll paaaass on all that usually

London!! Amazing. Hope you had fun there, such a cool city I always wanted to live there one day myself but it seems life doesn't want me to move out of the same town I've been all my life ha. I got a job as a designer locally (which is pretty rare here let me tell you) and now there's no way I can move tbh it's a dream job. Unless they'd be happy for me to work remotely, which they might be post COVID tbh lol.

Nah it was literally a few bucks. Pretty sure literally just that in scratchoffs EVER, if anything else it was def also a very small win. That kinda gambling isn't even exciting to me, like scratching it / looking at what the card says ehhhh. I need more action in it I get the lottery a bit more. Like the few times I've played during HUGE million $ jackpots it's just like fantasizing what if & looking forward to see the result but then it's just quick & always disappointment nnnn

JOE NOOOOOOOO! He only won 1/3. $47 return on that game tho so just a $13 loss overall, fair enough. I was looking through the results at the end & it looked like it was a CLOSE finish but I don't even know how to make sense of that game lol.

Literally think I've won like 1/6 times... something like that & never the lottery in the few times I've tried that. But I see others waste so much money on it. And my grandma pretty much ONLY likes scratchoff/lottery gambling, it's so bad But some enjoy it so I can't hate when I like my own gambling (even if I think it's objectively more fun & more likely to win at)

Yup, UK is so young-matured I guess allowing everything at 18. But it’s better, like obv people can handle drinking & gambling at 18. Good thing you weren’t drinking or else that $5 wasn’t going back (or were you actually?)

Ahhh losing/winning some $20 bets is so normal to me it typically doesn’t even make me that mad/excited. It’s kinda weird cause I WOULD be pissed about wasting like $40 on almost anything but with gambling it’s all a worthy process to me

That’s funny @ getting him to quit while ahead before he loses it again Something I like to do while winning is set a low point after a while. Like I had my fun for a bit & then say I have like $260 profit I’ll set my low point to quit @ $200 and then if I manage to keep winning I’ll set a higher low point etc. With losing sometimes it’s just like all hell breaks loose & I want my money back

Casino games def not it. Like I think it can go ok if you have STRICT losing limits but it can be tough to control & even so those are just losing games in the long run meant for the thrill. With poker if you buy in to a game for $200, you can easily double-quadruple that but it takes a lot of patience & time, there’s a lot of “folding” for $0 loss & small pots worth like $5-20 in between the big swings. Incredibly more strategic game too

Used to play casino games a lot more with varying betting limits until literally like a year or two ago that I started to play way less. In AC it’s still decent. Always done tons of poker & sports gambling even before I turned 21 I found my ways

Ahhh well I’ve been gambling for years tho so that’s understandable. If you started betting more, betting smaller amts won’t even be fun anymore I think that’s why I’ve gone off casino a bit (+ once you start losing bad in a game it just leaves that bad taste, like even two days ago I felt that again but luckily it ended up ok!)

Yeah you just gotta set limits you’ll still be ok with losing cause even in one day you could lose a looot gambling if you’re not careful
