Charlie the game player?

I may be totally wrong but I feel it was Charlie using Dexter to her advantage rather than the other way around. She dropped him faster than lighting when she came out the house but Dexter seemed like he generally liked her and wanted to stay in contact. I've not seen BOTS yet so don't know if anything has been said there. Anyone else think this?

Charlie used him for attention, Dexter used her for his gameplan.

What was his gameplan? Can you elaborate? People constantly said he had a gameplan with no theorys to back it up.

Despite knowing since Week 5 (maybe even earlier?) that Charlie didn't like him and feelings were reciprocated, he kept clinging to it and trying in (successful, I guess) efforts to make himself look more likable and have the public feel bad for him every time he struck out. If any one of them had a gameplan it was Dexter, not Charlie.

The evil bitch manipulated Dexter and Callum.

JTM45 20-08-2013 01:08 AM

Dexter didn't use her at all. She definitely used him though!!! She's an annoying twat!

Now I'm starting to wonder if that's why she was saved too...

Oh god, won't go there.

**** deleted by accident.
Oh well.

Yeah BigBUk I think you're right - she did.

Just said was suprised she stuck the knife in tonight.
Almost like she really meant it ?

Could be gameplaying til the last minute.
They're off to dinner soon.

Just feel a bit contrived like they've got in a room and planned it out.
Who cares, not sure I do anymore...

What a bunch of hypocrites you people are. You all champion Dexter for 'playing the game' - then when a hm you don't like appears to have done the same - she is an evil bitch. Absolutely pathetic.

The difference Sassysocks, is we still don't know Dexters feelings and whether or not he spoke the truth. he remained an enigma to the end, he was gracious to the winner and his fellow finalists. Charlie on the other hand chose to spend her interview slating Dexter, (the friend she adored and whom she spent the entire last week with), and chose Sam as her winner, (mainly to endear herself to the crowd), so she revealed her hand, because even if she doesn't fancy Dexter he was still a very good friend to her in the house, and she threw that right back in his face.

Dexter had enough intelligence to know that to be 'gracious' to the winner was the only way to go. Anything less would have been seen as sour grapes and he would have been slated for it. He was nothing if not consistent in playing the game.

Charlie was simply giving her opinion to the question asked. Would you rather she had lied?

I am so pleased other people felt that Charlie was using Dexter. Her exit interview was awful. Only Dexter and Gina can hold their heads up high, as neither of them used their exit interviews to slag off other housemates.

No I didn't want her to lie, but she put it it better, I appreciate she was on the spot, but contrast that to Gina's interview when asked about Dexter, that is how a real friend talks about someone they like.

I was shocked how bitter Jack and Joe were about Dexter (well mainly Jack) and even Sam, quite funny really that Dexter dominated all the interviews.:joker:

I think these threads prove that we all talk about the ones we consider the most obnoxious. Not exactly something to put on your CV though. Gina or Dexter as most obnoxious - you decide. :joker:
