'Breaking Bad' Saul Goodman spinoff confirmed by AMC, to be prequel

A spinoff of Breaking Bad has been confirmed by AMC and Sony Pictures.

The prequel, to be called Better Call Saul, will focus on the life of Walter White's lawyer Saul Goodman.

The project will bypass the traditional process of filming a pilot episode and go straight to shooting the series.

According to the network, the one-hour spinoff will "focus on the evolution" of the lawyer before he became Heisenberg's defender.

It is currently unknown how soon before Breaking Bad the series will be set.

It's also not known whether actor Bob Odenkirk will be reprising the role or whether a younger actor will portray him.

Bryan Cranston recently discussed the end of Breaking Bad as exactly what he had hoped for.

He said: "The ending of Breaking Bad is very unapologetic and appropriate and exciting, it's a rollercoaster ride."

hank </3 what a way to go out...and mad props to walt making it sound like she was living with him in a fear..lot's of people saying he's going back to save jesse in the flash forward but i doubt it. he pretty much left him to rot once he figured out he was a rat

Yeah Walt and Jessie are done.. If he had had a change of heart after what had happened to Hank and Gomez he wouldn't have pointed out Jesse was under the car and remind them they still owed him the hit. He's probably going back for the money, or the Nazi's will kill/threaten his family for some reason. Jesse told them the recording of him that Hank and Gomez recorded was at Hank's home, so they'll definitely be stopping by there, and I'm guessing Skylar and the kids will be staying with Marie unless they all go into witness protection or something.

This s.hit is way intense! I can hardly breathe watching these past few episodes. I think I might need a Valium to watch the finale..! When they shot Andrea.. wow.. poor Jesse... I can't help thinking that this will not end well for him.. I also loved when he put on the hat.. it's just iconic though, isn't it..

I'm already doing that. My daughter didn't watch it with me first time around, and she wanted to watch it, so we started at the beginning about a week or so ago.. and I'm watching it with her.. :)

The only problem is.. she doesn't want to watch it as much as me.. so she's happy to watch an episode every few nights.. whereas I wanna watch 2 or 3 per night lol
