I thought about this before. They are all sharing a once in a lifetime experience and you would think strong friendships would form after that but the only ones who kept in touch are Lee and Sophie i think and they got married had a kid and divorced lol

Alex and Adele still keep in touch,so do Kate and Alison.Davina was so much better in the earlier years at interviewing and she looked better too with much nicer haircut.I like the way BB takes no nonsense from them too.It was all far too soft in the later years.Its better when they are allowed to sleep in the day cos then they tend to stay awake at different times especially at night.Only having 1 hour of hot water should be brought back again but most of all BB needs to be tough on them but also let them have alcohol and fun too.Live feed makes so much difference but back then live feed was the main way to watch,i hope C5 get back to this and with multi camera choice again too.Highlights were just that in those days,just enough to bring you up to speed but want to watch more to find out what was going on.

Yeah live feed was a huge part of the show back in the day. I remember reading somewhere that live feed used to get around 2 million viewers.

Yeah, Spencer and Kate my fave couple too. I think as a bloke it was non-sentimental un-soppy and kinda real.

Kate and Alison are still friends, talked on twitter only the other day, arranging to meet-up. They both live in Brum, which helps I think. In fact a few months ago, they all met up with Johnny I think Alison went to PJ's wedding, Kate was stranded in Scotland so couldn't make it. I think Kate still speaks with Sophie too, and is on good terms with Spencer so that's not a bad strike-rate, considering it's coming up to 10:conf: years ago.

Nah, not if you had E4, and they gave you a couple of choices of camera, in bb3 (yay) and BB4 (nay), so most people had a unique experience of live-feed and you followed your faves.

Did Jade still keep in touch with any of them before her death?

Red Button. Opened so you could see options, and there was even a chance to watch clips you hadn't seen which wouldn't be shown on the main Prog. Not really surprising millions watched it really.

The first one was just available on rubbish streams on the internet, can't remember the second one's arrangements. Though there were complaints about what they featured, so I guess it was one screen.

It was on e4.

They had the "press red" button and there it was...24 hours of free live bb with a choice of cameras to watch and live text chat from viewers on screen.

Can anyone else remember the big brother game that was on there aswell? lol

Wish it was like that now they proper gave the viewers exactly what they wanted!

I forgot about the multi camera option of live feed in BB3/4. That was amazing, if somebody was boring you then you could switch to another camera and housemate. :hugesmile:

BB3 was a huge series because it had so much going for it. It even had an official magazine and the Getting In and Staying In book was released while the series was still on air (but that was a bit ****e tbh). BB4 also got quite a good deal with the interactive On Demand system and an official soundtrack (so cringey to look at the cover - "Featuring Busted, Sugababes, Darius, T.A.T.U., Cardigans, Sonique, Ms. Dynamite, Blink-182, Stero MC's, Nelly Furtado" Lol)

2003 really sucked music wise. Was full of cheap under produced dance music like flip n fill and ALOT OF COVERS!!!

However T.A.T.U rocked my world and i still think those girls are legends

It would never work for me though, always froze while loading. :bawling:

Amazing just how much i remember when watching it back.Really like the way the housemates slept when they wanted as this with the split cameras gave us viewing 24/7 when some stayed up at night.Spencer really didnt seem as tho he cared about being there much.

I forgot how much I loved the rich side when it was Alex, Jade, Adele and Sophie there. When they were drunk and messing around was hilarious to watch on the live feed. (well, until the wars started) :hugesmile:

I suppose he has to interact with the rest of them better if he doesn't want to be nominated. I still think Lee's a silly horny b@stard and Sophie's being just as flirty back.

LOL at how Alex can fit in that bucket! I still think Jonny's quite genuine. Yes, he does seem aware of the cameras but I think he's generally just a bit of a joker. And lol at Jade: "G-A-S-A-lene-A-L-A-E-N!" and "S-T-I-O-N!

It's not that I dislike Lee but he just doesn't do much other than whinge and flirt. I'd rather he go than Jonny. And it's Lee that's going! Wonder if Carmen will be there. Sophie might struggle because he appeared to be the HM she spent most of her time with and she already thinks people are bitching about her. I feel sorry for Adele but she seems to be doing fine with Jade and the rest of the group.

The teaser with Davina talking about Lee and the crowd's reaction was amazing. The atmosphere just seems epic. No Carmen - sucks.

That vid of Lee and Sophie is actually sweet but I'd still be pissed off if I was Carmen and Adele. Still don't know how he can just say him and Sophie were just mates though.

The task itself is again quite sh!t but the result of just 1 winner nominatign the 3 HMs they want to spent their week with is a good one. Hahahahaha at Spencer saying "What a tw@t!" lol. Unlucky.

Lmao Alex is blatantly going to the rich side. "Sausages! Bacon! No. More. Chick. Peas." Oh dear. Ok, he gets on well with Adele and sometimes with Jade, who also gets on with Adele but Sophie? So he's picked all the girls except Kate. Tit. Kate's a ladette anyway but she won't be happy.

It's great how it ends on that tension of Kate saying "Where's Alex? He's scared of coming out?" It's starting :D

Day 22/23 HLs!

Rewatching the clips of Jade and PJ with the psychologist perspective I still feel a bit sorry for them both. It was just a drunken fumble that both of them regret.

It's always annoying when HMs expect the newbies to be 'fit' and 'good-looking'. I know they've been in that house for a while and they're probably do what interesting new people to come in but why always that type? Some of them are just too wishful they'll end up in a relationship with 'Prince Charming' or with the guys at the least just get laid.

Lol at Alex "It's 'techno blue' but I'll give you that." And Kate: "It's 'arctic silver' but I'll give you that."

Ha! I said about Sophie struggling without Lee! It could actually be good that Alex picked her so maybe she can bond with Adele and Jade a bit more.

How did that conversation with Kate and Jade start? It was a refreshing change to see those 2 interacting anyhow. Lol to Jonny and Kate pillow fighting and the Spencer/Jade stinky conversation.

Lol Alex is amusing atm with his monotone voice "It's starting to smell like a swamp in there sometimes." Jade came across as a bit bitchy when she was advising Alex and it's kind of true because he didn't really make much of an effort to talk to the others whilst Sandy was there.

You can see how edited that task was. Alex in the DR was a lot quicker. PJ's annoyed: "Shove his rocket up his arse and piss on it." Him and Alex weren't best friends anyway and on the plus side it gets PJ away from Jade. Look how much of an arse-licker Adele's being!
