Yeah, me too, I think most of us who watch it on here do now too but there was a few incidents a while back of people giving out because someone had spoiled something

MTVN 14-12-2012 01:45 PM

Someone being Niamh :idc:

I don't really mind anymore though because I watch at USA pace too now

Niamh. 14-12-2012 01:49 PM

Yeah alright, alright, sorry

King Gizzard 14-12-2012 02:57 PM

probably be best to spoiler it until when it's aired here, after that is ridiculous though, it's their fault for not being up to date :idc:

Nazir getting killed off... I thought that he was going to be the main bad guy throughout the whole run of the show, would have been better that way I think. Even though the episodes have been good I didn't really like that he came to the USA and sacrificed himself.. He didn't really need to did he. Glad they didn't go down the predictable route and have Galvez as the mole though (or at least they haven't yet).

I guess Saul will warn Carrie early on in the finale that Quinn is going to kill Brody, and then the main parts of the episode will be them trying to stop him. Or Saul tells Carrie about David being involved in the drone strike, which could lead to Brody killing him. It was the actor that played David that went public about someone being killed off aswell :suspect: Just hope it's not Quinn or Saul.

Just watched the finale.

Wow.

That's all I'm gonna say.

Shaun 18-12-2012 09:23 AM

just watching it now...

okay something major just happened LOL

:|

Shaun 18-12-2012 09:47 AM

Spoiler:

Saul's phonecall to Carrie :bawling:

Elizabeth and Finn seemed unnecessary deaths... not so upset about David, he was pretty exhausted after Quinn refused his mission.

I don't really see this Carrie/Brody on the run thing as something with the longevity for a whole season though... obviously there was someone in the CIA who planted it on Brody's car (or so I assume LOL), but there's surely no one left high enough or featured enough in the first two seasons to be interesting  Saul would be too obvious, too...

edit: oh Carrie just came back LOL

Raph 18-12-2012 11:43 AM

My friend loves this show so I'm thinking of giving it a go over Christmas break!

lily. 18-12-2012 04:12 PM

Shaun...

Spoiler:

I don't think someone in the CIA planted that bomb. I think someone in Nazir's network planted it on orders from Nazir before he sacrificed himself. It reads to me like Nazir died for the bigger cause.. like he wanted to be caught and killed so that the others could complete the mission once the CIA dropped their guard somewhat.

At the end, when Saul was saying the Hebrew prayer, I mistook it for an Islamic one, and thought he was the bad guy.. but once I found out it was a Hebrew one.. that theory went out the window.

I'm glad Carrie came back, but how's she going to get out of this one? Surely someone is going to question her involvement in Brody's escape.. The look on Saul's face at the end was like a mixture of relief that she was alive, and despair about what she's possibly done. He's always been the smartest character on the show, and won't be long in adding it all up. Is he in charge of that division now that Estes is dead?

I'm still on the fence about whether Brody knew about the bomb or not. On one hand, he was conveniently far enough away from the blast zone.. but on the other hand... these things are often suicide missions so had he known about it, wouldn't he have gone down with it... sacrificed himself for the cause?

I don't know who to trust anymore. That's the beauty of this show.

Shaun 18-12-2012 04:39 PM

I read somewhere that

Spoiler:

There's a moment as Brody is arriving at the funeral that he hands his car keys to someone else after locking it

What that means... and whether it's a red herring or not... I don't know

King Gizzard 18-12-2012 04:50 PM

Spoiler:

wish dana had died

Shaun 18-12-2012 04:51 PM

lily. 18-12-2012 06:48 PM

Spoiler:

Must rewatch and see if he does hand his keys over.

King Gizzard 18-12-2012 06:50 PM

Spoiler:

King Gizzard 18-12-2012 06:50 PM

King Gizzard 18-12-2012 06:50 PM

Spoiler:

lily. 18-12-2012 07:08 PM

Spoiler:

lol

Iceman 18-12-2012 09:45 PM

Spoiler:

that was fantastic.....the video coming on gave me goosebumps. I think Brody did it....then walked away scott free by the help of Carrie. I cant wait for S3 now

lily. 18-12-2012 10:31 PM

Spoiler:

I have a bad feeling you are right. I just can't bring myself to trust him, nor to trust Carrie's judgement on him because of her feelings. She's a mess around him.

Iceman 19-12-2012 08:21 AM

Spoiler:

I know I want him to be good but when he's playing the villain he's so bad that you prefer that side to him

Niamh. 19-12-2012 09:51 AM

Ohhhhhhhhhh that was amazing

Spoiler:

I was convinced Brody was a goner cos I couldn't see how he'd have any more purpose in the show but that was ingenious, so glad that estes was the main character to die and not Brody or Saul. I don't think Brody knew anything about it but you never know

lily. 19-12-2012 05:33 PM

Spoiler:

They can theoretically drag this out for a good few episodes of the next season before clarifying whether or not he's innocent. I'm looking forward to S3

Locke. 23-12-2012 09:33 PM

Saul is the mole.

1) Done everything he could to make sure Brody wasn't killed by Estes/Quinn... yet still clearly didn't trust Brody at all judging from his conversation with Carrie.. needed him to be alive to plant the bomb in his car and have him blamed
2) Failed the lie detector in Season 1.
3) Was completely out the way for the bombing.
4) Wanted Carrie to go with him to Nazir's funeral, which explains why he would still be upset about her possibly being dead later in the episode
5) Facial expressions were a bit strange at Nazir's funeral
6) Judging by the finale he is a lot more religious than what we already knew

I hope he isn't but literally everything points to him being it.. There really isn't anyone else it could be, the mole storyline has been there since season 1 and they are dragging it out for a reason, and the only other remaining characters from the CIA are Carrie and Galvez, we know it isn't Carrie and Galvez would just be terrible and unbelievably predictable.

Oh, and Mandy Patinkin deserves to win the Best Supporting Actor Golden Globe that he was nominated for for this episode.

King Gizzard 23-12-2012 11:50 PM

How'd brody know where he was going at the end...just seemed to walk off randomly into the forest

Should have made it clearer it was a different day at the end I was like WTF when carrie walked in

Only thing I could say is they might be setting up a new Nazir or something, unless it was Quinn lol
