The rating for Sunday's show was 2.23m inc. +1. For the second half of the show more viewers were watching Channel 5 than any other channel.
Last years same episode drew 2.5 in officials so im thinking this is roughly the same. |

There was a rise. Gosh, some people are never happy. |

Jesus! |
It was EXACT to last years CBB8 Sunday rating EXCLUDING.
The 2.23m beats last years 2.14m Second half of episode was most watched of its entire slot, and the show grew throughout the hour. |

The officials took last years episode up to 2.5 million :) I just want this years show to get 2.5+ per episode. |
This is good, it is at the exact same stage as least years ratings now, and the 11.5% share is the highest since launch I think, so that is very impressive to be honest. I hope ratings rise in a similar way to how they did last year throughout the week.

Bloody good news if you ask me. A rise is a rise
|
Tonight will be tough!
E4 launches Playing it Straight (loved the show all those years ago!) BBC Three launches Sex week. Both have the same target audience of CBB. CBB should come out on top but I just hope it can build on last nights 2.23, if not, stay over 2m! |
Tbh even if it gets 2mil, its boosting five's audience share very significantly, even above channel 4's.
And this is the the 3rd series in a mere 6months, it's bb overload tbh. No way five will get rid of it or the normal series if these figures hold up. If bb 13 averages the same ratings as bb12, expect to see bb around for years. five annouced record profits, mainly in large to big brother, with its sponsership revenue amongst other souces of income bb brings. Not to mention it's boosted the target audience five wanted to attract massively. |
The old dead and buried C4 big brother would be spinning in its grave now. Shame on you channel 4, shame on you.

Woohoo shame on your face C4

Good news, I reckon this series will average pretty much the same as last years one. Just looking at how poorly channel 5's other programs rate, they really need to sort out their early prime time shows, something like bblb at 6:30 would be good I think.
|
Are you sure it was 2.3?
Without plus 1 it got 2.15m (8.5%) Channel 5 was beaten by Channel 4 last night aswell. When Paddy met Sally performed quite well didnt it. |
