Why should they cancel it? This was probaby done with Patriots day in mind by a domestic terrorist...someone pissed off by something

The only chance of something happening here is a chancer who'd want to do a copycat attack but it would take a while to make the bombs

I think its a American

I've never even heard of "Patriots Day" before, I think it's only a Massachusetts thing.

I agree with Arista, this seems too amateur to be any major terrorist organization. It's probably some local nut.

It's scary that he's still out there though.

I don't know whats to achieve with telling people how to make bombs with household stuff, to be honest..

Sticks 16-04-2013 06:19 PM

It could still be an al-Qaeda inspired home grown terrorist just like the 7/7 bombers in 2005.

Tell the President , then

lostalex 16-04-2013 06:23 PM

Al Qaeda, or any Islamic organization probably would have claimed it by now though. They arn't shy about admitting their crimes. They're usually proud of them.

It's definitely leaning more towards the Unabomber/Timothy McVeigh side of things for me right now.

No you have got it so wrong , I love America and its people by and large, but your govt, politicians, political system quite frankly stinks and the masses just put up with it....... Why ?????

Yu do realize you sound like one of those people that says i Don't mind GAY people as long as they don't ACT gay. I don't like gay people that act TOO GAY or too flamboyant . or I don't hate black People, I just don't like black people that act GHETTO. I don't hate BLACK people, i just don't like N-Words. That's basically your logic. You are so transparent.

That's basically the Westboro Baptist logic. "we don't hate gay people, we love them, but we hate the SIN"

America's political system is not very different from any other western country. America didn't go to Iraq Alone. And if any western country was against what America was doing, why is it they supported us, if they really thought it was wrong, why weren't they fighting against America? I don't remember any russian or chinese or any other countries tanks fighting against America and the UK in Iraq.

American foreign policy is in line with Europe's foreign policy. If it wasn't why didn't they fight against America?

If France was so Against the war in Iraq then why didn't they send troops to defend Iraq?

bbfan1991 16-04-2013 08:01 PM

Apart from a brief look in the morning I have not seen much of the news today due to being out, but I hope that once again people in Boston are safe and OK.

My thoughts are once again with the families whose loved ones have died in this tragedy:(. Hopefully the Police will get to the bottom of what happened!

“My dear son Martin has died from injuries sustained in the attack on Boston. My wife and daughter are both recovering from serious injuries. We thank our family and friends, those we know and those we have never met, for their thoughts and prayers. I ask that you continue to pray for my family as we remember Martin. We also ask for your patience and for privacy as we work to simultaneously grieve and recover. Thank you.” - Bill Richard
This is heartbreaking.
