i reckon he's been bit yeah

Locke. 20-10-2014 11:00 PM

That episode was waaaaaaay better than the premiere.

It seemed set up to me that Bob had been bitten or scratched or something (the last kiss, watching the church outside, crying etc) so I was expecting him to off himself at the end. I'm guessing now that if he had been the hunters would have found the scratch/bite while they were cutting his leg off, so I'm confused as to what the crying outside the church was actually about?

Great episode though.

Spoiler:

Another great episode

It was easy to tell from the start there's something dodgy about this Gabriel guy. There was a lot of unpredictability about the whole episode which is great. The car going past that took Beth shook me up. The ending though > those hunters are ****ing disgusting but it was great, yet again it was something I didn't see coming at all.

Drew. 20-10-2014 11:10 PM

This season is heading in a much more disgusting and darker direction compared to the previous 4, and it's great. The unpredictability of it all at the moment though >

Locke. 20-10-2014 11:17 PM

The hunters are going to get Carol next and have themselves a nice long feast

Firewire 21-10-2014 12:24 AM

Just watched the episode. This season is amazing so far but I don't wanna speak too soon in case it goes downhill from here :worry:

Firewire 21-10-2014 12:25 AM

It's so dark and I love it

At the end of the show when the previewed next weeks show, someone from the group said they have 3 of our people so they may taken 3 or next week maybe they'll take 2 more? Maybe they'll get carol and Daryl while they're off trying to rescue Beth or maybe the group will just think that they've been taken along with Bob cos they disappeared without telling anyone at the same time?

Great episode though, so creepy

Brother Leon 21-10-2014 11:28 AM

I'm enjoying the season so far. Gareth is a great villain. Such a twat lol. I'm kinda pissed the Beth Bottle episode is coming up for episode 4, because I'm enjoying the dynamic at the moment.

Bob is with the hunters and Daryl and Carol chased that avery car and are going to be focused on that part of the story I think..but the group probably assumes they have been kidnapped too.

Samm 21-10-2014 02:36 PM

What will happen to the hunters since they ate bob and he probably got bite

Locke. 21-10-2014 02:58 PM

They would turn, I'd imagine, meaning Bob could go out as a hero which I'm ok with.

Niamh. 21-10-2014 03:01 PM

I bet he hasn't been bit though, they're surely not going to end their story so quick

Samm 21-10-2014 03:06 PM

I don't seen another reason why he would start crying

Drew. 21-10-2014 03:06 PM

I hope Bob wasn't bit, i want to see more of these hunters.. and surely Bob would have turned by now anyway.

If he had been and they kill him off straight away I like it. They did the same to Tara (Amber Benson) on Buffy; fans had been campaigning for her to be in the main titles and the episode they added her she was shot and died.

Amy Jade 21-10-2014 03:17 PM

I've seen on other forums that people were saying Bob was crying because he had finally found love in Sasha, beat his alcoholism and found a family.

Spoiler:

I'd be disappointed if the story wasn't going in the tainted meat direction. Gareth can go and this seasons big bad can be somebody else.

Niamh. 21-10-2014 03:26 PM

Yeah I thought that was maybe why he was crying ^ It looked like relief crying almost? That's why the end was so awful :bawling:

Headie 21-10-2014 03:28 PM

My personal take on Bob and Gabriel:

Spoiler:

I think Bob was bit, probably on the leg, because why would he say "One Last Kiss" to Sasha before leaving. I also think he was going outside to kill himself before he could turn, but then the Hunters chopped his leg off and started eating "tainted meat", so he will survive until they have eaten all of him like Hershel survived when they cut his leg off.

Spoiler:

I think Gabriel's "sins" are that the walkers in that infested area they cleared were people from his camp, but he locked them out of his church and kept all the supplies inside for himself, which would explain the scratches that Carl saw of people trying to get in, and the picture Gabriel had of that woman (who was a walker). The one reason Gabriel never went to that area for supplies wasn't because it was infested, but because he knew they would've gone in that direction to flee for safety and he didn't want to see 'what sins he had done' by locking them out and making them flee.

That's just my predictions anyway, idk if it'll happen or not.

Amy Jade 21-10-2014 04:06 PM

Spoiler:

If Bob has been bitten then I think he will still turn. when Hershel was saved his leg was cut off straight away that's how he was prevented from turning but Bob walked home and ate so he would have waited far too long.

BUT

Spoiler:

Typically a zombie virus (in movies) saliva to also contagious so kissing Bob could have exposed Sasha, too?

Niamh. 21-10-2014 04:07 PM

I don't think he was bit at all

Brother Leon 21-10-2014 04:40 PM

I think he was bit. His crying didn't look like the happy sort at all.

Spoiler:

Also It's just way too similar to the comic scene for it not to be. Gareth's speech was almost word for word. I hope he was anyway as it I want to see his "Tainted Meat hahaha!" Mocking of them. I still think they will die due to a head to head clash with the grouo rather than infection .

These are my thoughts too^^^^

Spoiler:

Could you imagine waking up and seeing your leg on a barbeque:shocked:

I'm loving this series so far, great entertainment:wavey:
