It does seem that way now. He was clearly goading Danny tonight.

BENDERBOY 01-07-2015 11:46 PM

Not surprised, woman hater and now a homophobe.

Withano 01-07-2015 11:47 PM

Absolutely disgusted at the tweets and anybody defending them. It is not okay to use the word as a joke or as an insult especially on a public domain like Twitter. Danny made similar tweets too, there was less defence for him to be fair but they are both as disgraceful as each other.

LukeB 01-07-2015 11:47 PM

It looks like Marc and Danny will be final 2 :omgno: both are bad as each other and both are dicks .

Wizard. 01-07-2015 11:47 PM

But I don't find fa***t offensive? Maybe I'm just thick skinned idc

But you realise how you personally not finding the word offensive does not detract from the fact that the word is offensive, right?

Sorry, I find this post really amusing with your username :D

Anyway, my response is the same as the Danny ones. It does not necessarily make one homophobic to use language such as this. It is technically homophobic language, but that doesn't mean the person using it is actually homophobic...

I shall hide now as I was in the wrong for saying it about Danny too

okay but plenty of people do and you really don't have to be that imaginative to realize that it's offensive to a large community.

Advice you should take yourself

Hes referring to his friend being gay... usually homophobic people arent friends with gay people.

Again, "I'm not racist, some of my best friends are black" logic

I did. No homophobia whatsoever in it.

If you want to call that homophobic then danny's tweets calling people "gayboy" will have you beside yourself.

Macie Lightfoot 01-07-2015 11:55 PM

wow it's almost like it's possible to dislike both Marc and his opposition who could've thought

I'm not turning this into a debate about homophobia but I ask why? People should stop feeling sorry for themselves being in a minority group and ignore the abuse. Idgaf

Its nowhere near the same thing. Not even close...

Comparable would be using the N word to describe your black friend to their face (something LOTS of white people do) as both that word and *******ot have been reclaimed by the very people it was used against

If you want to get into why then we can but the two words (assuming you are referencing the N word) have totally different social contexts.

Can you please name one example where the word may be used publicly but excused given the correct context? (Excused as in the word being inoffensive to everybody ever).

Rob! 01-07-2015 11:58 PM

He clearly isn't homophobic, he was good friends with Simon. :idc:
